SmackDown 5/7/10

SmackDown opens with Matt Hardy coming out to the ring. Hardy addresses Drew McIntyre. He tells Drew that if Drew doesn’t want to see him anymore, Drew will have to make him go away. Drew comes out and says that Vince McMahon declared him the future of the company. Drew says that makes him untouchable. Drew and Hardy brawl. The referees separate them, but Drew attacks Hardy from behind. Drew attacks Hardy’s head. Hardy rolls out of the ring, but Drew follows. Drew continues the attack to Hardy’s head and slams it into the barrier. Teddy Long comes out and tells Drew to stop. Drew continues the attack and Long suspends him. He still keeps attacking Hardy and Long strips him of the Intercontinental Title. Drew attacks Hardy again and Long fires him from SmackDown. Some of the referees and security check on Hardy while the rest of them escort Drew out of the building.

Josh asks Long about Hardy and Long says Hardy is with the doctors. Josh asks him about Drew and he says he’s never seen anything like it in his life. Josh asks him about the status of the Intercontinental Championship and he says he doesn’t know what he’s going to do.

MVP is out to take on Luke Gallows. Gallows starts with a punch, but MVP answers with a series of punches. MVP floats over Gallows in the corner and hits him with a jumping forearm shot. MVP continues the attack on Gallows. MVP goes for the Player’s Boot, but Gallows moves and MVP ends up on the apron. Gallows knocks MVP off the apron and goes after him on the outside. Gallows gets MVP in a double underhook. He hits a series of knees and a double underhook suplex. Gallows gets MVP in a reverse bearhug. MVP fights out, but gets caught with a big kick to the mid section. Gallows hits a clothesline in the corner and a big uppercut. Gallows follows up with a running splash and covers for a 2 count. Gallows goes back to the reverse bearhug. MVP fights out again. He fights out of the corner and hits a series of strikes. MVP hits a knee facebuster and goes for the Ballin’ Elbow. MVP hits it and goes for the playmaker, but Serena distracts him and Gallows hits a big clothesline for a 2 count. Mysterio suddenly comes out and DDTs Punk at ringside. Gallows is distracted and he turns around right into the 305 (which Striker says MVP also calls the Play of the Day).

Move of the Match: A number of interesting moves, but this has to go to the 305/Play of the Day.

After the match, Punk calls Mysterio a coward. He calls Mysterio out and Mysterio comes out and addresses the masked SES member who’s been attacking Mysterio. Punk says that Mysterio must be using drugs because Punk hasn’t seen any masked man attack Mysterio. Mysterio says the only person hallucinating is Punk. Mysterio challenges Punk to a rubber match at Over the Limit. Mysterio loses, he joins the SES, but if Punk loses, his head is shaved. Punk accepts the match. Mysterio says that if Punk shaves his head right now, Mysterio will join the SES tonight. Mysterio says the problem with the SES is not the message, but the messenger. Punk refuses to shave his head and Mysterio questions why Luke and Serena have to have their heads shaved but Punk does not when Luke and Serena do most of the work. Mysterio tells Punk there’s nothing he can do to be saved from the 619.

Kelly Kelly and Tiffany vs. Team LayCool. Tiffany and McCool start out. Tiffany backs McCool into the corner, but McCool nails her with a poke to the eyes. McCool goes after Tiffany, but gets caught with a drop toe hold. Tiffany continues to fight back and hits a monkey flip out of the corner, but McCool lands on her feet. McCool brags that she’s flawless, but turns around into a standing monkey flip from Tiffany. McCool rolls out of the ring. Vickie and Layla prevent Tiffany from going after McCool. Meanwhile, McCool gets back into the ring and catches Tiffany with a dropkick as she tries to reenter the ring. McCool drops a series of knees on Tiffany and covers for a 2 count. McCool tags in Layla. Layla goes for a running splash, but Tiffany gets her knees up. Tiffany tags in Kelly. Kelly hits a clothesline and a pair of dropkicks to Layla. Layla avoids the handspring attack in the corner, but gets caught with a neckbreaker. Kelly tags Tiffany back in. Tiffany hits a crossbody on Layla, but McCool breaks up the hold. The referee back Kelly out of the ring, but McCool comes back in and nails Tiffany with a kick. McCool takes Kelly off the apron and Layla hits the Lay Out and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: Another match with its share of good moves, but this has to go to the Lay Out.

In the back, Long announces 4 individuals will compete in a tournament to crown the new Intercontinental Champion. The first two matches will be tonight with Christian taking on Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler taking on Kofi Kingston.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston. Ziggler starts out with a side headlock. Kofi shoots of Ziggler, but runs into a shoulder block. Kingston leapfrogs over Ziggler multiple times, and then nails him with a spinning forearm shot. Kofi hits Ziggler with a dropkick and clotheslines him out of the ring. Kofi flies out of the ring into Ziggler. He rolls Ziggler back into the ring, but Ziggler catches him with a big kick as Kofi climbs back into the ring. Back from break and Ziggler once again has Kofi in a headlock. Kofi fights out and goes for a forearm in the corner, but Ziggler moves and hits his inverted powerslam move and covers for 2. Ziggler continues the attack on Kofi. Ziggler chokes Kofi on the ropes. Ziggler hits a series of shots and covers for a 2 count after a dropkick. Ziggler gets Kofi in a camel clutch. Kofi tries to fight back, but Ziggler slams him down to the mat. Ziggler hits the big elbow drop and covers for 2. Kofi starts to fight back, but Ziggler takes him down again. Ziggler gets Kofi in another potential submission hold. Kofi begins to fight back and hits the SOS on Ziggler for a 2 count. Ziggler fights back and gets a 2 count with his feet on the ropes. Ziggler hits a sit out facebuster and covers for 2. Ziggler continues the attack, but Kofi keeps trying to fight back. Ziggler misses and attack in the corner and Kofi starts to fight back. Kofi hits Ziggler with a series of strikes and nails him with the Boom Drop. Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise, but Ziggler moves. Kofi hits a springboard crossbody, but Ziggler rolls through for a 2 count. Ziggler gets Kofi in the sleeper hold. Kofi tries to fight out and falls against the ropes catching Ziggler on the top rope. Kofi hits Trouble in Paradise and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: This has to go to Trouble in Paradise.

Up next is the other semifinal match in the Intercontinental tournament. Christian vs. Cody Rhodes. Rhodes goes after Christian to start the match. Rhodes hits a shoulder block and goes for a quick cover, but only gets a 1 count. Christian fights back and hits Rhodes with a forearm shot. He rides on Rhodes’ back, but Rhodes avoids the blow from the outside. Christian sends Rhodes out of the ring and catches him with the jumping dropkick to the outside. Christian goes for the springboard attack to the outside but Rhodes moves. Rhodes catches Christian on the outside and slams him into the ring steps. Rhodes brings him back into the ring and attacks him. Christian fights back and hits the slingshot sunset flip for a 2 count. Rhodes fights back and nails Christian with a dropkick to the back that sends him into the bottom rope. Back from break and Rhodes drops Christian with a front suplex. Rhodes gets a 2 count on Christian and goes to a surfboard stretch. Christian keeps trying to fight back, but Rhodes keeps dropping him. Rhodes gets Christian set up on the top rope and hits a superplex on Christian. Rhodes goes after Christian, but gets rolled up for a 2 count. Rhodes fights back, but Christian clotheslines him out of the ring with a cactus clothesline. Rhodes hits the kick off the ring steps. He brings Christian back into the ring and covers for a 2 count. Rhodes sets up for a dive, but Christian catches him with a punch to the midsection. Christian hits a series of shots and his slingshot kick in the corner. He hits a missile dropkick and covers for a 2 count. Christian goes for the Killswitch, but Rhodes avoids it. Christian rides on Rhodes again, and this time hits the blow on the outside. Christian goes for a crossbody, but Rhodes moves and gets a 2 count with a roll up. Rhodes counters the Killswitch and goes for a back suplex, but Christian lands on his feet and hits Rhodes with an inverted DDT and covers for 2. Rhodes sends Christian into the corner and Christian tries to fight back, but Rhodes drops him to the mat. Rhodes hits the moonsault onto a standing Christian, but only gets a 2 count. Rhodes tries to send Christian into the ring post, but gets sent into it himself. Christian hits the Killswitch and covers for the win.

Move of the Match: The Killswitch is a great move, but this has to go to the impressive moonsault from Rhodes.

Jack Swagger comes out. Swagger again starts to run down his list of accomplishment. Back from break and Swagger is still talking. Kane finally comes out. Swagger goes after Kane and gets him in a rear hold, but Kane fights out with a back elbow. Swagger takes Kane down, but Kane shows a little bit of skill in mat wrestling. Big Show comes out and makes his way down to ringside. Swagger takes the fight to Kane. Swagger is backed out of the corner and Kane catches him with a big uppercut. Kane attack Kane in the corner and backs off on his own. Kane hits the snapmare and the big low dropkick. Swagger hits Kane with a chop block and gets Kane in a front facelock. Kane picks up Swagger and drops him on the top rope. Kane hits a blow to Swagger, but Swagger fights back. Swagger comes off the ropes, but Kane catches him with an uppercut. Kane catches Swagger with a pair of clotheslines and follows a clothesline in the corner with a sidewalk slam. Kane goes up top and hits the flying clothesline. Kane gets Swagger set up for the chokeslam, but Swagger fights back and sends Kane repeatedly into the exposed turnbuckle. The referee calls for the bell. Kane wins by DQ.

Move of the Match: This has to go to the snapmare followed by the low dropkick.

After the match, Swagger clotheslines Kane in the corner and nails Kane with a big boot. Swagger comes out of the ring and gets his title belt. Swagger stares down Big Show and walks into a big boot from Kane. Kane tears up the announce table, but Swagger fights back. Swagger sends Kane into the ring post, but when he turns around, Show catches him and chokeslams him through the announce table. Show stands in the ring with the World Heavyweight Championship to end SmackDown.

Superstars 5/6/10

Superstars opens with Carlito taking on Primo. Primo takes control early and Carlito backs into the ropes. Primo gets a quick 2 count on Carlito. Carlito tries to send Primo out to the apron, but Primo remains vertical and catches Carlito with a head scissors takedown when he turns around. Primo follows up with a dropkick, but when he charges Carlito, Carlito answers with a kick to the abdomen. Carlito drops an elbow on Primo, but only gets a 2 count. Carlito locks in a chin lock on Primo. Primo starts to fight back and hits a springboard crossbody for a 2 count. He gets back up and Carlito hits him with a big kick. Carlito hesitates and Primo hits a series of punches and kicks. He sweeps Carlito’s legs and lands a leg drop. Primo hits a spinning back elbow followed by a forearm shot. He gets Carlito in the corner and hits a series of punches. Primo goes for a crossbody out of the corner, but Carlito moves. Carlito again hesitates and gets a microphone. He asks Primo if this is really what he wants. Carlito talks about how great he and Primo were. He offers Primo the opportunity to team up again. Carlito goes to leave, but Primo turns him around and offers him a handshake. They shake hands and hug. Then both of them walk out.

Move of the Match: This goes to Primo’s headscissors after he was hanging from the top rope.

Up next Chavo Guerrero is taking on Chris Masters. Chavo and Masters lock up. Masters goes for the Master Lock, but Chavo goes to the ropes. Chavo slides out and Masters goes after him. Chavo slides back into the ring, but Masters slides back in at the same time. Masters punches Chavo and Chavo rolls out of the ring. Masters picks up Chavo and tosses him through the ropes into the ring. Chavo fights back with a kick to Masters on the apron, and takes him off the apron with a standing dropkick. Chavo rolls Masters back into the ring and hits a slingshot senton. Chavo hits a series of strikes to Masters and goes to a chinlock chicken wing. Masters fights back and Chavo goes to an inverted side headlock. Masters manages to roll over, but Chavo locks in a rear headlock. Masters fights back again, but Chavo moves to a sleeper. Masters backs into the corner and regains control. He hits a series of strikes and a big back body drop. Chavo tries to fight back but gets caught with a backbreaker followed by a sidewalk slam. Masters signals for the Master Lock, but Chavo fights out. Chavo hits a jumping DDT for a 2 count. Chavo goes for the 3 Amigos, but Masters counters the 2nd and locks in the Master Lock. The referee calls for the bell and this match is over.

Move of the Match: Lots of good moves, including some impressive mat wrestling from Chavo, but this has to go to the Master Lock.

In the back, Michelle and Layla mock Kelly Kelly calling her Smelly Kelly. Vickie comes in and sprays Kelly with hair spray. Kelly calls her a cow and they try to rub deodorant in her face, but Beth Phoenix and Tiffany come in and Team LayCool and Vickie leave.

Beth Phoenix vs. Rosa Mendes. Rosa says that Beth’s days as Champion are numbered. Rosa slaps Beth. Beth sets Rosa up on the top rope and kicks her. Beth hits a series of strikes. Rosa tries to send Beth into the corner, but Beth floats over. Series of strikes in the corner. Rosa avoids Beth in the corner and starts to fight back. Rosa goes after Beth, but Beth rolls her up for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: There weren’t too many moves, but the kick after setting Rosa up on the top rope was quite vicious.

After the match, Beth limps off with the help of 2 officials.

The main event for Superstars is JTG taking on Shad in an Extreme Rules Rematch. Shad goes after JTG immediately, but JTG uses his speed to fight back. JTG hits the leg lariat and covers, but only gets a 1 count. Shad fights back with a knee lift. He goes for a big boot, but JTG moves and Shad gets caught up on the ropes. JTG hits a dropkick to Shad sending him over the ropes and out to the floor. JTG vaults out onto Shad on the outside. Back from break, Shad in now in control of JTG. JTG is hung up on the ropes and Shad goes out to the apron and hits him with a big boot. Shad hits an attack to JTG’s back. He locks in a unique move (almost like a reverse abdominal stretch.) JTG fights back, but Shad slams him down to the mat. Shad kicks JTG in the back and follows up with a sliding lariat. Shad covers, but JTG kicks out. JTG fights back again, but when he creates distance, Shad catches him and locks in a standard abdominal stretch. JTG tries to fight back and Shad releases the hold, and then strikes him. He performs a hip drop to JTG’s back and goes back to the abdominal stretch. Shad grabs the ropes. The referee starts counting, but JTG hits a hip toss on Shad. Shad goes after JTG, but JTG counters and rolls Shad up for 2. Shad fights back, but JTG catches him with an uppercut and follows up with his rolling shoulder blocks. JTG floats over in the corner and hits a dropkick to Shad’s back. JTG hits the Mug Shot and covers for 2. Shad rolls out of the ring. JTG goes after him and slams him head first across the apron. JTG rolls him back into the ring, but Shad fights back. Shad goes for the hip drop to the back again, but JTG rolls over so that Shad’s groin connects with JTG’s knee. JTG goes for the Shout Out, but Shad catches the ring ropes and holds on. Shad hits JTG with Thugnificent and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: Lots of good moves, and I like Shad’s use of submission holds, but this has to go to the vicious STO Shad calls Thugnificient.

NXT 5/4/10

NXT opens with the rookies at ringside. Striker reminds them that next week, one of them will be eliminated. Striker introduces tonight’s challenge, an Obstacle Course. The rookies must first cross monkey bars, climb a suspended ladder and ring a bell, make their way up to the concourse where they have to drink a soda, return to the ring, juggle for 5 seconds, perform a dizzy bat challenge, and push a cart across the finish line. The winner gains immunity so that if he is ranked in 8th place next week, the person ranked before him will be eliminated. Daniel Bryan is up first. He completes the course in 2:45.5. Miz comes out and berates Bryan for taking so long to complete the obstacle course. He says that Bryan will be facing Michael Tarver next.

Daniel Bryan vs. Michael Tarver. Bryan looks to get control early, but Tarver catches him with a back elbow and turns his attentions to the wounded ribs. Bryan gets a submission hold on Tarver’s legs and does some damage to the legs. Tarver punches Bryan in the ribs and sends him into the corner. Bryan fights out of the corner and nail Tarver with a running kick. Tarver returns to the ribs. He hits a scoop slam and cover for 2. Tarver goes to a modified Camel Clutch on Bryan. Back from break and Tarver hits Bryan with a modified pumphandle suplex and covers for another 2 count. Bryan fights back with a knee to the ribs and he follows up with a kick to the back. Bryan hits a series of kicks. He hits an attack in the corner and a snap DDT move for a 1 count. He moves to an armbar on Tarver. Tarver manages to pick him up and slam Bryan down. Tarver picks up Bryan and hits a modified powerslam and covers to win.

Move of the Match: There were some impressive moves from both men in this match, but this has to go to the move Tarver used as his finisher which was a unique version of a powerslam.

After the match, Tarver picks up Bryan and Carlito hits Bryan with the Backstabber.

Backstage Darren Young is with the SES. Punk tells Young he needs to figure out who he wants to be and he can start by winning the Obstacle Course Challenge.

Obstacle Course Challenge. Heath Slater is next. Slater completes the course in 1:36.9. Darren Young is next. He completes the course in 2:07.8. Heath Slater remains in the lead. Up next is Justin Gabriel. He completes the course in 1:29.0. David Otunga is next. He completes the course in 1:35.0. After he completes the course, Striker announces that his match is next.

David Otunga vs. R-Truth. R-Truth offers a handshake and then slaps Otunga. Otunga overpowers Truth, but Truth answers by fighting back with speed. Otunga sends Truth into the corner shoulder first and then catches Truth with a shoulder block. Back from break, Otunga has Truth in an abdominal stretch. Otunga releases Truth and catches him with a kick to the ribs. Truth fights back, but Otunga overpowers him again and goes back to the abdominal stretch. Truth counters out an puts Otunga in the abdominal stretch. Truth slingshots over Otunga in the corner and performs his cartwheel and splits, and then catches Otunga with a spinning kick. Truth hits the Lie Detector and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: This has to go to the Lie Detector.

Wade Barrett is next in the Obstacle Course Challenge. Wade Barrett can’t do the monkey bars and walks out. The official disqualifies him. Skip Sheffield is next. Sheffield completes the course in 1:31.2. Up next is Michael Tarver. Tarver is unable to finish his soda and the referee disqualifies him. Justin Gabriel wins the Obstacle Course Challenge and secures immunity next week.

Striker talks to the rookies. Michael Tarver says he should be eliminated for the protection of the other rookies. Sheffield, Slater, and Barrett all think Tarver should be eliminated. Bryan says he should be eliminated because he is the only one who hasn’t won a match. Young starts to say he wants it more than all the rookies. Barrett pushes him away and the two of them brawl on the floor. The referees attempt to separate them as NXT ends.

IMPACT 5/3/10

Impact opens with Hogan and Bischoff in a limo talking about the situations in TNA.

In the Impact Zone, Ric Flair’s music plays. Jay Lethal comes out dressed in a suit and wearing Flair’s Hall of Fame Ring. Lethal is now acting like Ric Flair instead of Randy Savage. After a few “Woos,” Lethal says that Hogan told him to wait till the end of the show, but he said, “Big man, I can’t wait.” The music hits again, and the real Ric Flair comes out. Flair gets mad about Lethal acting like him. Lethal offers Flair his ring back. He says he meant no disrespect, he just wanted to be like Flair for a few minutes. Flair slaps Lethal. Flair slaps Lethal again and Lethal slaps him back. They trade knife edge chops and Lethal hits Flair with a back body drop. Lethal puts Flair in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Beer Money, Styles and Wolfe come out and attack Lethal. Abyss comes out to try to even the odds, but the numbers game catches up to him too. Team 3D hits the ring and evens the odds. Team Flair is still able to take control, but Rob Van Dam comes out with a chair and Team Flair flees the ring.

Hogan gets a message about what happened in the Impact Zone and tells the driver to turn around.

Back in the Impact Zone, RVD tells Flair’s team that if they want a fight, they should get out to the ring. They come out and the guys in the ring and the guys on the outside brawl. Brother Ray looks to suplex Flair on the ramp, but Roode saves him. Hogan suddenly shows up. He drops Roode, Wolfe, Storm and Styles with punches. Flair chops Hogan, but Hogan no sells. Hogan goes after Flair and tosses him out of the ring. Back from break, Hogan addresses Team Flair. He makes Desmond Wolfe vs. Rob Van Dam for the title tonight, AJ Styles vs. Abyss in a Monster’s Ball match, and he adds Team 3D to Beer Money’s match with the Motor City Machine Guns to make it a triple threat.

Brian Kendrick and Douglas Williams are in the ring. Williams contains about being stripped of the title. Williams complains about being in a tag match with Kendrick as his partner. Williams says that if Kazarian wants to be the real champ, he has to beat Williams at Sacrifice. Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal come out, and they’ve apparently named themselves Ink Inc. Williams and Neal start out. Neal gets control early, but Williams takes him down. Springboard crossbody from Neal gains him a 2 count. Williams hits Neal with a gutwrench suplex and tags in Kendrick. Kendrick kicks Neal and nails him with a series of shots. Kendrick tags Williams back in. Williams hits a scoop slam and a series of knee drops, and then covers for a 2 count. Neal begins to fight back, but Williams catches a kick in the corner and targets Neal’s leg. Neal avoids the knee strike and Williams runs into the corner. Williams tags in Kendrick. Neal fights off Kendrick and tags in Moore. Moore catches Kendrick with a crossbody and follows up with a shot to Williams. Moore hits a dropkick and follows up with the big inverted atomic drop. A spinning kick earns Moore a 2 count. Kendrick rolls Moore up for 2. He looks for the tag, but Williams isn’t there. Moore hits the Mooregasm off the second rope and tags in Neal. Neal hits Kendrick with a Spear and covers for the win.

Move of the Match: Some impressive moves, and the Spear was nice, but Moore’s Mooregasm looked wicked tonight.

Kendrick gets up and blames Williams for the loss. He chases after Williams. Samoa Joe comes out. He clotheslines Williams and follows up with a thrust kick to Kendrick. Joe brings Kendrick into the ring. He hits a knee in the corner and follows up with a Muscle Buster. Joe gets a microphone. He goes to speak, but instead drops the mic and leaves.

JB is in the back with Flair, but Flair says he’s not in the mood. He tells AJ to beat Abyss. He tells Beer Money to prove they’re the best. Flair tells Wolfe that RVD will tear him up if he’s not ready. He tells everyone to make it happen or he will find replacements.

Hogan talks about how he thought coming to TNA would be easy, but he never expected Sting to turn on TNA. He says he’s going to get in Sting’s face and demand an explanation.

Backstage, Anderson is attacking the Pope. Anderson sandwiches him repeatedly between two equipment boxes. Anderson takes and puts on Pope’s sunglasses. Anderson comes out to the Impact Zone. Anderson says the Pope will not be out tonight. Jeff Hardy comes out. Hardy says that the Congregation and the “Creatures of the Night” are one in the same. Hardy says the Pope won’t be able to compete at Sacrifice, and because of that Hardy is going to challenge Anderson to a match at Sacrifice. Anderson says he has something going on that night, so he can’t do it. Anderson goes to walk out. He comes back and tries to hit Hardy, but Hardy avoids the attack and nails Anderson with the Twist of Fate. He strips Anderson to his underwear and then asks him again. Hardy accepts on Anderson’s behalf and leaves.

Taylor Wilde, Sarita and Tara are competing against the Beautiful People with all the titles on the line. Tara and Wilde fight over who’s going to start. Tara and Lacey start out. Tara hits a snap suplex and locks in a guillotine hold. Lacey hits a jumping spinning back kick to Tara and Tara tags in Sarita. Lacey tags in Velvet. Velvet hits Sarita from behind, but Sarita fights out of the corner. Sarita hits Velvet with a flapjack and covers for a 2 count. Sarita tags in Wilde. Aided standing moonsault on Velvet. Tara distracts Wilde and Velvet fights back and tags in Madison. Madison goes for a clothesline, but gets caught with a German Suplex. Wilde goes to tag Sarita, but Tara steals the tag. Sarita tags herself in on Tara and Tara knocks her off the apron. Wilde and Tara argue. Tara attacks Wilde and they fight on the outside. Lacey and Velvet hit a double DDT on Sarita and Madison covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: The double DDT was sick, but this has to go to the aided moonsault move from Wilde and Sarita.

In the back, Tara says that the only time she gets respect is when she has the championship around her waist, so she’s challenging Madison to a title match at Sacrifice. Tara says she’s willing to put her career on the line.

Beer Money Inc. vs. The Motor City Machine Guns vs. Team 3D. Sabin and Roode start out. A series of counters ends when Sabin hits Roode with a spinning kick. Roode fights back and tags in Storm. Shelley makes the blind tag and catches Storm with an inverted atomic drop. Sabin takes out Storms knees. Shelley locks in the inverted STF and Sabin hits the low dropkick to the face. Shelley covers for a 2 count. Shelley and Storm trade control and Devon tags in. Devon goes right after Storm and gets him set up in the corner. Series of shots and the referee breaks it up. Ray sets up his boot and Devon sends Storm into it. The referee is distracted and Roode takes a shot at Devon from the outside. Storm hits Devon with a double knee facebuster. Roode comes in and Storm goes out. Roode takes shots at the Guns. Roode tags Storm back in. They hit the Beer Money Suplex. Storm covers for 2, but Shelley breaks it up. Storm tags Roode in. They go for a clothesline in the corner, but Devon avoids Storm and takes out Roode. Devon tags in Ray who takes on both members of Beer Money. He hits Storm with a big boot and a big back body drops to Roode. Ray hits Storm with a series of strikes and drops Roode with a scoop slam. They set up and Devon hits the Whassup? Headbutt. Hall and Nash hit the ring and attack Team 3D causing the referee to rule the match a disqualification.

Move of the Match: This either goes to the Whassup? Headbutt, or the Guns inverted STF low dropkick combo.

The Band attack 3D. EY comes out to the ring. EY turns on 3D with his kendo stick and aligns himself with the Band. The Guns finally decide to get involved. Shelley tosses EY out of the ring. He grabs Hall and they hit the Missile Dropkick/Complete Shot move on Hall. Nash grabs Shelley for the Jackknife, but Sabin uses Shelley to launch himself up for a kick. The Guns hit a double superkick on Nash. Beer Money comes back in. Roode hits Sabin with a spinebuster and they hit the DWI on Shelley.

Now it’s time for the O-Zone with host Orlando Jordan. Jordan says that in the O-Zone anything and everything can and will happen. Jordan introduces his guest, Rob Terry. He reveals a cardboard cutout of Terry. Jordan asks the cutout what kind of fantasies a freak has and says he fantasizes about Jordan. Terry comes out and tears up the cutout. He says “Don’t make me come back” and turns to leave. Jordan jumps him from behind with a chain and wraps the chain around his neck. Jordan picks up a vase from the O-Zone set and slams it onto Terry.

Up next is AJ Styles taking on Abyss in a Monster’s Ball match. AJ starts out the match by going for the Springboard Forearm onto the ramp, but Abyss catches him. He fights out and charges at Abyss but Abyss counters with a belly to belly throw into the ring. Abyss sets up a chair in the corner. AJ tries to hit Abyss with a chair, but Abyss catches him with a big boot. Abyss grabs a crutch, but Abyss dropkicks it out of hit hand. AJ avoids a chair shot and hits the Pelé kick. AJ follows up by dropkicking Abyss into the corner. AJ continues the attack on Abyss. He charges at Abyss, but Abyss presses him into the air and drops him. Abyss tries to charge into AJ in the corner, but AJ moves. AJ tries to float over Abyss in the opposite corner, but Abyss doesn’t follow him in. Abyss sends AJ into a chair in the corner and follows up with the Shock Treatment. Abyss covers, but only gets a 2 count. Abyss grabs a bag from under the ring. He pours out the tacks in the middle of the ring. Flair comes out to the ring with Chelsea. Abyss tries to help Chelsea and AJ hits him with the chair. AJ goes after Abyss, but Abyss sends him out to the ramp. AJ gets a pair of metal knuckles and nails Abyss with a low blow. AJ performs a springboard crossbody sending Abyss into the tacks. AJ covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: This has to go to the springboard crossbody into the tacks.

The main event is Desmond Wolfe challenging RVD for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Wolfe attacks RVD before the match can start. He brings RVD back into the ring and chokes him in the corner. Wolfe hits the running forearm strike in the corner. Wolfe tries to get RVD up on the ropes, but RVD fights back. Wolfe avoids the somersault monkey flip and drops RVD. Wolfe manages to hit the Hammerlock DDT, but only gets the 2 count. Wolfe goes for another running shot in the corner, but RVD moves and when Wolfe turns around, RVD hits him with a side kick off the top rope. RVD hits Rolling Thunder. He goes up top, but Wolfe gets up and hits the top rope. Wolfe tries for the Tower of London, but RVD fights back. Wolfe tries to go for the Tower of London to the outside, but RVD comes off the top rope and pushes him. RVD hits a springboard back kick and follows up by back body dropping Wolfe back into the ring. RVD hits the 5 Star Frog Splash and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: There were good moves from both men in the match. They packed a lot of action into a relatively short match. This has to go to the 5 Star Frog Splash.

After the match, AJ comes in with a flying forearm to RVD. He nails RVD with shots and says he’ll be using his rematch clause at Sacrifice.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett is down and when Hogan asks him who did it, he says it was Sting.

Hogan comes out to the ring. Hogan says it’s time to find out what’s real and calls out Sting. Sting comes out to the ring. He tells Hogan that what makes him tick is TNA. Sting talks about Hogan always having been protected. Hogan addresses Sting leaving Jarrett down in the back. Sting says Hogan has always been one of the best chess players and tells Hogan it’s his move. Jarrett comes into the ring and picks up Sting’s bat. He hits Sting twice, but Hogan stops him. Jarrett argues with Hogan as Impact goes off the air.

RAW 5/3/10

Batista comes out and complains about John Cena beat him in the Last Man Standing Match. Batista calls Cena’s taping his legs to beat him was the most embarrassing moment of Cena’s career. Sheamus comes out to interrupt Batista. Sheamus says that he deserves to be in the WWE Championship Match. Sheamus challenges Batista to a single’s match. If Sheamus wins, he gets the title shot, and if Batista wins, Sheamus will shut up. Sheamus maintains that he didn’t lose last week because he wasn’t pinned. Batista tells Sheamus to get out of his ring. Sheamus says that if Batista thinks this is over, he’s wrong.

Miz comes out to the ring. He tells Batista that there is nothing he’d like more than to face him right now, but the trauma from being punched by Big Show last week has left him unable to compete. Miz even has a doctor’s note to prove it. Miz says he’s found a replacement, Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan says he’ll make Batista tap out.

Batista vs. Daniel Bryan in a Beat the Clock Challenge Match. Batista goes for the Batista Bomb to start, but Bryan rolls through and rolls him up. Bryan goes for an Ankle Lock, but Batista fights out and rolls out of the ring. Batista comes back in and goes after Bryan in the corner. Bryan springs over Batista and locks in a sleeper hold, but Batista throws him off and catches him with a low boot. Batista whips Bryan into 3 of the corners. Bryan gets Batista in a guillotine choke, but Batista tosses him with a back body drop type move. Batista tosses Bryan out of the ring. He slams him into the ring apron. Batista brings Bryan back into the ring and hits a vicious clothesline. He covers for a 2 count. Bryan tries to fight back and catches Batista with a big kick, but when he tries to get a running start, Batista answers with a kick of his own. Bryan fights back with more kicks and goes to the crossface, but Batista gets to the ropes. Batista fights back with a kick to the knee. He follows up with a spear. Batista hits the Batista Bomb and covers for the win at 5:06.

Move of the Match: Batista’s moves are powerful, but I’ve got to give this to the crossface.

Post Match, Batista powerbombs Bryan. Batista starts to leave, but goes back into the ring and hits another Batista Bomb on Bryan.

In the back, Wayne Brady congratulates Eve on being Diva’s Champion. Jillian comes in and asks to sing Wayne’s theme songs for him. She starts to sing and Wayne gets her to leave. After Wayne leaves, Maryse hits Eve with the Diva’s Championship.

Edge is talking to a production person when Josh Matthews comes out to ask him about Orton. Edge says that he is Rated R and because this is live television, he’ll do what he wants, when he wants.

Ted DiBiase comes out. He talks about R-Truth slapping him last week. He says that he will hire an associate and the first thing they’ll do is slap some sense into R-Truth.

DiBiase vs. Morrison. DiBiase looks to be taking control early, but Morrison comes back with a spinning kick. He sends DiBiase out of the ring and follows up with a 450 into body splash. DiBiase decides to walk out and the referee counts him out. Morrison says that he doesn’t want this to end in a count out and tries to get DiBiase to restart the match. Morrison tells DiBiase that if he loses, he will be DiBiase’s “Virgil.”
Back on RAW and this match has restarted. DiBiase has Morrison in a body scissors. DiBiase continues to attack Morrisons midsection, dropping him across the ring ropes. DiBiase covers for 2. Morrison fights back with a kick to the head. Morrison follows up with a series of shots and goes for the Flying Chuck, but DiBiase knocks him off the ropes and covers for 2. DiBiase goes for Dream Street, but Morrison counters. Morrison runs into a snap powerslam that earns DiBiase a 2 count. DiBiase follows Morrison into the ropes and hits his short range clothesline for a 2 count. Morrison counters Dream Street by walking up the ropes and flipping over, dropping DiBiase on his shoulders for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: This has to go to the 450 into a splash from before the match was restarted.

After the match, DiBiase attacks Morrison from behind. R-Truth hits the ring and runs of DiBiase.

John Cena vs. Chris Jericho is scheduled to be next, but Jericho says that because he too was punched out by Big Show, he will not be in the match. Jericho introduces his NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett, to take his place. Barrett says Cena won’t beat him. Cena goes after Barrett at the start of the match. He goes for repeated covers with the hopes of getting the pin. Cena goes to a full nelson and a snapmare. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Jericho gets up on the apron. Cena kicks Jericho and Barrett catches the ring ropes. Cena tosses Barrett onto Jericho. Cena sends Barrett back into the ring, but Jericho attacks Cena. Cena gives Jericho a shot, but Barrett hits Cena with a kick. Barrett slams Cena into the announce table and brings him back into the ring. Barrett hits a series of shots and covers after a Polish Hammer for a 2 count. Barrett goes to a surfboard stretch. Cena tries to fight out, but Barrett maintains the hold. Cena finally fights out, but when he goes to build momentum, Barrett catches him with a big boot. Barrett sends Cena into the ropes and follows up with a backbreaker. Barrett covers for 2. Barrett nails Cena with knees to the back. Cena suddenly fights back and gets Barrett in the STF. Barrett taps out with 27 seconds left in the match.

Move of the Match: This has to go to the STF.

Post Match, Cena says that his beating the clock means he gets to decide the stipulation of the match with Batista at Over the Limit. Sheamus hits the ring and lays out Cena with a double axe handle and the Pump Kick.

Up next Nikki Bella and Maryse are in a match. Nikki catches Maryse early with the jumping snapmare. She slams Maryse’s head into the turnbuckle. Maryse is distracted on the outside by Brie and Nikki sends her back into the ring. Maryse takes Nikki off the top and sends her to the mat. She follows up with the French Kiss and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: The French Kiss.

After the match, Maryse shows pictures of her with a knocked out eve, holding the Diva’s Title. Eve comes out and the referee holds her back as Maryse slides out of the ring.

Zack Ryder comes out. He has Gail Kim and Alicia Fox at ringside and tells them he wants them at ringside when he has a match because Rosa was drafted to SmackDown. He challenges Primo. Wayne Brady comes on and says that if Zack really wants to be impressive, he can’t think of any opponent better than this man. Mark Henry comes out. Mark Henry hits Ryder with a series of scoop slams, letting Ryder get up after each one. Ryder avoids a splash in the corner and drops Ryder with a dropkick to the knee. He follows up with a missile dropkick and hits the Rough Ryder for a 2 count. Henry begins to fight back by overpowering Ryder. Henry hits the World’s Strongest Slam and covers for the win.

Move of the Match: There should be no doubt that this goes to the World’s Strongest Slam.

Mark Henry comes over and Alicia and Gail leave with him.

Jericho and Miz are talking about the Big Show. Jericho says the two of them carried him for 16 months. Miz says there’s nothing they can do about it because Show’s on SmackDown. Jericho says he has an idea and they leave.

Kozlov is out talking to Brady. Santino comes in. He says he would like to team up with Kozlov. Regal interrupts and says that he and Kozlov already have a match. They all leave Brady alone. Goldust comes in and introduces himself to Brady saying, “I’m Goldust, witch!”

Miz and Jericho are at ringside for this match. William Regal and Vladimir Kozlov vs. The Hart Dynasty. Regal takes control early. Regal (with Kozlov’s help) sends Kidd out of the ring. Kozlov is tagged in and he hits a series of shoulder blocks and chokes Kidd. Kozlov performs a hammer lock last call throw. Regal continues the attack, but Kidd counters an attack and tags in Smith. Smith hits a series of shots. Regal goes for the knee trembler, but Smith moves and puts Regal in the sharpshooter. Regal taps out and the Hart Dynasty wins.

Move of the Match: Kozlov’s hammer lock throw was impressive, but this goes to the sharpshooter.

Miz goes after Smith. Smith takes down Miz, but Jericho hits the ring and nails Smith with the Codebreaker. Miz follows up by picking up Smith and hitting the Skull Crushing Finale.

Edge comes out for the Cutting Edge. He talks about having been set up to challenge Swagger, but being drafted to RAW. Edge says that he speared Orton to make a statement. Wayne Brady comes out. Brady says that he wants to feel what it’s like to walk in Edge’s footsteps. Brady does a promo talking about being the best guest host yet. Orton suddenly comes out. Orton suddenly RKO’s Brady and goes after Edge. Edge tries to calm him. Edge says he knows Orton won’t RKO him. Edge says last week was a case of Orton being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Edge also says that the last time Orton was on the Cutting Edge, they became a tag team. Edge tries to get Orton to reform Rated RKO. Edge talks about the people not accepting him. He says that Orton doesn’t play by the rules and the people support him. Edge tells Orton that the spear last week was the tip of the iceberg and if Orton doesn’t join him, he will keep spearing Orton. Orton remains silent and Edge tells him to say something. Orton goes for the RKO, but Edge shoves him off and hits him with a big boot. Edge sets up for the spear, but Orton counters with the RKO. RAW ends with Orton standing over Edge in the ring.

SmackDown 4/30/10

SmackDown opens with Teddy Long coming out and introducing Kofi Kingston. This match is Kofi taking on Chris Jericho. Jericho brags about having been the face of SmackDown. He continues bragging until Kofi tells him to shut up or Kofi will do it for him. The bell rings and Jericho immediately goes after Kofi. Jericho sends Kofi into the corner but Kofi fights back. Kofi mounts Jericho in the corner, but after a few punches, Jericho answers with a powerbomb. Back from break, Jericho dropkicks Kofi out of the ring. Jericho brings Kofi back into the ring and goes for a half nelson choke. Jericho continues the attack and chokes Kofi on the ropes. Jericho shoots Kofi into the corner, but Kofi hits a springboard crossbody for a 2 count. He comes back with a series of chops and clotheslines and goes for the Boom Drop but Jericho blocks and goes for the Walls of Jericho. Kofi rolls up Jericho for 2 and dodges the running enzuigiri, but Jericho catches him when he goes for Trouble in Paradise and locks him in the Walls of Jericho. Kofi is able to reach the ropes. Jericho argues with the referee and then runs into a dropkick from Jericho. Kofi goes for the Boom Drop again and Jericho again avoids it. Jericho catches Kofi with the Codebreaker, but Kofi rolls out of the ring. Jericho rolls Kofi into the ring, but only gets a 2 count. Jericho keeps telling them to ring the bell. He turns to go after Kofi, and Kofi suddenly nails him with Trouble in Paradise and covers to win the match.

Move of the Match: This has to go to Trouble in Paradise.

In the back, Swagger talks about getting invited to the White House by President Bush in 2002.

Jericho is talking to someone and says that SmackDown is nothing without him. We see Jericho get punched and it’s revealed that he’s talking to Big Show who says, “Yeah, I heard you.”

Chavo talks about being on SmackDown. He says he’s glad to be back. Chavo is interrupted by Kane. Kane comes into the ring and Chokeslams Chavo then says, “Welcome back, Chavo.”

In the back, Shad says it’s his time.

Up next John Morrison is taking on Cody Rhodes. Rhodes and Morrison trade blows. Morrison knocks Rhodes down, but Rhodes follows with a drop toe hold and a side headlock. Rhodes stomps on Morrison in the corner. Rhodes goes after Morrison, but gets caught with a spinning kick and Morrison hits the Shooting Star Splash for a 2 count. Rhodes rolls to the outside and Morrison follows. They fight on the outside, and Rhodes springs off the ring steps and hits Morrison with an enzuigiri. Back from break and Rhodes has Morrison in a cross face chickenwing variation. Morrison fights out, but gets caught with a dropkick from Rhodes. Standing front suplex and Rhodes follows up with a knee drop for a 2 count. Rhodes goes back to the hold. Morrison tries to fight back, but Rhodes slams him to the mat. Rhodes fights out of the corner and hits a moonsault onto a standing Morrison and follows up with a series of punches then covers for a 2 count. Rhodes hits a scoop slam and goes for another knee drop, but Morrison moves and hits Rhodes with a dropkick. Morrison comes back with a series of strikes. Morrison rolls up Rhodes for 2 and hits the Flying Chuck Kick for another 2 count. Rhodes fights out of an attack and goes for Cross Rhodes, but Morrison counters and hits a flapjack for another 2 count. Morrison goes for Starship Pain, but Rhodes moves. Rhodes counters a huracanrana attempt and hits the Alabama Slam for a 2 count. Morrison hits Rhodes with a kick and follows up with the running knee, but Rhodes grabs the ropes. Rhodes fights back with a jawbreaker, but Morrison hits the Pelé kick, but Rhodes avoids the follow up clothesline and catches Morrison with the Cross Rhodes. Rhodes covers Morrison for the 3 count and the win.

Move of the Match: A number of good moves, but I’m going to give this to the enzuigiri off the steps on the outside.

In the back, Swagger talks about leading the Oklahoma Sooner’s Wrestling team to 3 consecutive national championships.

Edge comes out and talks about being drafted to RAW and how he doesn’t really want to go because SmackDown has become his home. He tells the fans that he loves them. Christian comes out. Christian talks about how well he knows Edge and he says that he knows every word that came out of Edge’s mouth before he came back was a load of crap. Christian says that the WWE Universe has respected Edge, but Edge has never really respected them back. Christian calls Edge a liar. Edge says that Christian is right and that the people are his puppets. Christian says that since he came back everyone has been asking when they’ll see Edge and Christian reunite, but Christian says he realized Edge used him too and he doesn’t want to see Edge and Christian anymore, but would rather see Edge vs. Christian right her, right now. Edge says no, and then hits Christian from behind. Edge hits Christian with the big boot and goes for the spear, but Christian fights back and takes him down. Christian goes for the Killswitch, but Edge escapes the ring and backs up the ramp. Christian says he thinks he has a better chant than “Spear! Spear! Spear!” and leads the audience in singing, “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!”

In the back, Edge tells Josh Matthews that he doesn’t think Christian would really want that match. Show comes up and says it’s too bad we won’t see Edge vs. Christian, and it’s too bad we won’t see Edge vs. Show either. Show then proceeds to knock out Edge.

Team LayCool vs. Beth Phoenix and Kelly Kelly. Kelly and McCool start out. McCool sends Kelly into the corner. Kelly fights back and McCool goes after her with a kick. Kelly fights back with the spinning head scissors and follows up with a huracanrana for a 2 count. McCool sets Kelly up on the apron. Kelly fights back and then takes a shot a Layla, but Vickie comes in and knocks down Kelly. McCool slams Kelly into the barrier and brings her back into the ring. McCool goes for a powerbomb, but Kelly counters with a huracanrana. Kelly fights out of a hold by McCool and McCool tags in Layla. Layla goes for a leg drop, but Kelly moves and tags in Beth. Beth takes a shot at McCool and goes after Layla. Layla fights back with a dropkick to Beth’s back, but Beth answers with a diving clothesline off the middle rope. Beth sets up for the Glam Slam and McCool comes in, so Beth throws Layla into her. Beth kicks McCool out of the ring and hits a slingshot suplex on Layla. Beth tags in Kelly who hits the Kelly Killer on Layla and covers for the win.

Move of the Match: This has to go to Beth’s diving sliding clothesline. The Kelly Killer was good, but not quite as impressive as the clothesline.

Swagger states that he turned down scholarships from some of the top universities in the country as a junior in high school.

Masters is in the back and he demonstrates his dancing pecks to the SmackDown theme.

Dolph Ziggler comes out to the ring. Ziggler shows video of his putting Hornswoggle in the sleeper. Ziggler says that Hornswoggle is in Leprechaun Heaven.

They show video of McIntyre’s attack on Hardy last week. In the back, Josh asks Hardy about the assault and Hardy says that he’s gonna come back. McIntyre interrupts the interview by attacking Hardy and hitting the Future Shock DDT on the floor.

JTG is in the back and he talks about wanting some gold around his waist.

Up next, the SES comes out. Punk talks about beating Rey Mysterio at Extreme Rules. Punk is interrupted by MVP coming out. MVP tells Punk to do everyone a favor and shut up. MVP says he’s going to save everyone tonight from Punk running his mouth. MVP goes after Punk and Gallows. The numbers game comes into play, but Mysterio comes out to even the odds. Mysterio sends Gallows out of the ring and joins MVP in going after Punk, but Gallows pulls him out of the ring.

Back from break and this has been made into a match. Gallows and MVP are in the ring. Punk goes after MVP, but MVP fights back and tags in Mysterio. MVP and Mysterio work together and hit a wheelbarrow splash on Gallows. Gallows fights back and goes for a powerslam. Mysterio tries to counter with a DDT, but Gallows fights him off and hits a big boot. Gallows tags in Punk. Punk hits a series of shots and chokes Mysterio in the corner. Punk hits a back suplex on Mysterio and follows up with a series of leg drops. Punk covers for 2 and goes to the figure four neck scissors. Mysterio fights out, but Punk catches him in the corner. Punk tags in Gallows and Punk hits a snap suplex followed by a big splash from Gallows. Gallows tags in Punk and Mysterio tries to fight back. Mysterio almost tags in MVP, but Punk slams him down to the mat. Punk goes for a swinging slam on Mysterio, but Mysterio counters with a DDT. MVP and Gallows are tagged in. MVP catches Gallows with a belly to belly throw followed by a series of shots. MVP hits a knee facebuster and follows up with the Ballin’ Elbow, but Punk breaks up the count. Mysterio springs in and hits Punk with the seated senton. MVP sets up Gallows and while the referee tries to get Punk out of the ring, Mysterio hits the 619. MVP follows up with the 305 (Jumping Complete Shot) and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: I think I’d have to give this to the 619/305 combo.

The hooded SES member hits the ring and nails Mysterio with a swinging neckbreaker, and then escapes before MVP can go after him.

Swagger talks about graduating with honors with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Swagger comes out to the ring. Swagger tries to tell a story about being a young boy, but the audience keeps shouting him down. He tells the story over the crowd. Swagger talks about his life achievements. Swagger says he’ll be World Heavyweight Champion until he retires. Teddy Long comes out. Long introduces Swagger to the new number 1 contender for Swagger’s World Heavyweight Championship, The Big Show. Show makes his way down to the ring. Show tells Swagger that Swagger is not the World’s Largest Athlete. Big Show lists Swagger’s accomplishments. Show says that all that’s left is one thing, “early retirement” and proceeds to knock out Swagger. SmackDown celebrates with Show in the ring standing over an unconscious Swagger.

Superstars 4/29/10

Superstars opens with Gail Kim taking on Jillian. Jillian slams Gail to the mat and tries to go for the handspring leg drop, but Gail moves. Gail slams Jillian to the mat, and hits her with an arm drag when she gets back up. Gail sends Jillian into the corner. Jillian gets up to the top rope, but Gail follows her up and hits a super huracanrana. Gail goes for what looks like a huracanrana, but Jillian catches her and drops her with an electric chair. Jillian drops Gail with a scoop slam and after a couple of punches covers for 2. Jillian goes for a surfboard hold. Gail manages to fight out of the hold, but Jillian fights back and hits her with a Samoan Drop. Jillian pulls Gail’s hair releasing at 4. Jillian whips Gail hard into the corner and covers for 2. Jillian goes to a sleeper variation on Gail. Gail tries to fight back and Jillian slams her to the mat again. Jillian goes for another Samoan Drop, but Gail maintains her hold on the ropes and when Jillian turns to pull her off, she catches Jillian with a head scissors takedown. Gail starts to build momentum with clotheslines. She hits a big clothesline in the corner. She charges into the corner again, and when Jillian moves, she catches Jillian with a springboard crossbody, but Jillian rolls through for a 2 count. Jillian sets up Gail in the corner and hits a handspring into a hip splash. Jillian charges in again, but Gail moves and Jillian goes into the turnbuckle. Jillian comes out of the corner and Gail catches her with Eat Defeat and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: There were a number of good moves in this match, but this has to go to Eat Defeat from Gail.

Up next is Primo vs. Zack Ryder. Ryder takes control of Primo’s arm, but Primo kicks him off, catches him with a pair of arm drags, and takes control of Ryder’s arm. A series of counter by Primo result in him nailing Ryder with a dropkick. Primo catches him with another arm drag and goes back to arm control. Ryder gets up and goes after Primo, but Primo tosses him out of the ring. Primo goes after Ryder and catches him with a body press on the outside. Primo covers for 2. Ryder is set up in the corner and Primo goes after him with shoulder block and punches. The referee backs up Primo and Ryder fights back dropping Primo on the ropes and kicking him to the outside. Back from break, Ryder is in control of Primo with leg scissors. They show that during the break, Ryder slammed Primo hard into the ring apron. Primo fights back and gets a 2 count off a jackknife cover. Ryder catches Primo with a flapjack and covers for a 2 count. Ryder dropkicks Primo to the outside. Ryder slams Primo into the apron again. Ryder brings him back into the ring and covers for another 2 count. Ryder locks Primo into a grounded abdominal stretch and nails him with some punches to wear him down. Primo starts to fight back, but Ryder sends him hard into the turnbuckle. Ryder goes for a leg drop, but Primo rolls out of the way. Primo fights back and rolls Ryder up for a 2 count. Primo follows up with a backslide and small package but only gets 2 for each. Primo hits Ryder with a spinning back elbow and follows up with a Russian legsweep. Primo hits a series of kicks and a leg drop, and covers for 2. Primo tries to fight out of the corner, but Rosa provides the distraction and Ryder pulls Primo off the ropes. Ryder hits Primo with the Zack Attack and covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: Another match that had a number of good moves, but this has to go to the Zack Attack.

Up next is The Hart Dynasty taking on The Dudebusters. Barreta and Kidd start out. Barreta and Kidd trade arm control with a series of reversals. Barreta brings Kidd over to his corner and tags in Croft. Croft chokes Kidd in the corner and tags Barreta back in. Side headlock takedown and Beretta takes control. Kidd shoots Barreta off, but gets caught with a shoulder block. The pick up the pace and Kidd ends a series of reversals with a spinning back kick, and follows up with a running dropkick. Kidd gets a 2 count on Barreta and tags in Smith. Barreta makes it to his corner and tags in Croft. Croft runs into a shoulder block from Smith. Smith hits a scoop slam followed by a leg drop. Smith targets Crofts arm and uses a keylock takeover to get a 2 count. Smith shoots Croft off and Croft catches him with a kick. Smith counters another attack with a snap powerslam, but breaks the cover to chase off Barreta. Smith is distracted by Barreta and Croft attacks him from behind, sending him out of the ring. Barreta nails Smith with an attack on the outside. Back from break, Barreta is in control of Smith with a side headlock in the middle of the ring. Smith fights back, but Barreta takes Kidd off the apron so Smith will have no one to tag. Smith catches Barreta with a big back body drop and Kidd jumps back on the apron so Smith can make the tag. Kidd comes in with a springboard dropkick. He nails Barreta with an inverted atomic drop and follows up with a spinning kick. Kidd performs a pumphandle gutbuster for a 2 count. Kidd and Baretta fight on the ring apron. Croft distracts Kidd and Barreta drops him on the apron with a DDT. Barreta tags in Croft who brings Kidd back into the ring and covers for 2. Croft focuses on the head and neck of Kidd with a necklock. Croft tags Barreta back in. Barreta drives Kidds head into the turnbuckle with a knee and follows up with a back suplex. Barreta hits a back elbow in the cover and tags Croft back in. Croft hits a dropkick and gets a 2 count. Kidd fights back with an arm drag, but Croft hits him again. Croft hits a scoop slam and tags Barreta. Barreta springs in and kicks Kidd. Barreta hits a series of knees to Kidd in the corner. Barreta goes after Kidd, but Kidd sends him into the turnbuckle. Smith and Croft are tagged in. Smith goes after Croft with a series of shots and a standing belly to belly throw. Croft fights back with a jawbreaker, but Smith catches him and performs the Stalling vertical suplex and covers for a 2 count. Smith clotheslines Croft in the corner and sets up for a powerslam, but Barreta pulls Croft off Smith’s shoulder and out to the floor. The referee is distracted by Smith and Natalya interjects herself with a slap to Barreta. Smith and Kidd hit the back body drop senton onto the Dudebusters on the outside. Kidd sends Croft into the ring and they hit the Springboard Hart Attack. Kidd covers for the 3 count.

Move of the Match: Lots of good and interesting moves. I really liked Kidd’s pumphandle gutbuster, and the DDT on the apron was viscious, but this has to go to the Springboard Hart Attack.
