Impact opens with Mr. Anderson coming out to the ring. He invites Jeff Hardy to join him in the ring. Anderson says that his hitting Jeff with the chair last week wasn’t on purpose. He says that if it had been on purpose he’d be bragging about it. Anderson says that he and Hardy have a match tonight. He says he’ll bring the chair to the ring. He says if he uses it, Jeff will know he has a problem with Anderson. Anderson says if Jeff uses it, he probably will have deserved it, but he’ll know he has a problem with Jeff.
In the back, AJ is talking about having to face Kazarian tonight.
Kazarian vs. AJ Styles is tonight’s opening match. AJ goes after Kazarian as soon as he hits the ring. Kaz and AJ catch each other with a series of arm drags. They trade blows and Kaz rakes AJ’s eyes. Kaz hits a series of shots in the corner and the referee backs him off. AJ pokes Kaz in the eyes and hits a series of shots of his own. Kaz sends AJ into the corner and hits a monkey flip. He follows up with a running dropkick that sends AJ into the corner. Kaz covers for 2 and locks in a reverse chin lock. Flair comes out to the ramp. AJ fights back and hits a dropkick on Kaz. AJ pulls Kaz out of the corner, but Kaz lands on his feet. AJ hits a low kick and follows up with a swinging neckbreaker. He picks Kaz up and hits a backbreaker. AJ locks in a chin lock and then converts to a reverse chin lock. AJ looks for the Styles Clash and Kaz tries to turn it into his reverse piledriver. AJ turns it back around, but Kaz fights out. Kaz goes after AJ, but AJ catches Kaz on hits shoulders and drops him across his knee for a 2 count. AJ hits a clothesline in the corner and goes for a suplex, but Kaz counters and hits a slingshot leg drop for a 2 count. Kaz sets up AJ in the corner and goes for the Flux Capacitor, but AJ fights him off. AJ goes for a springboard move and Kaz avoids it, but AJ hits the PelĂ© kick on Kaz. AJ goes out to the apron, but Kaz nails him with a kick. Kaz hits a slingshot DDT onto the apron. AJ and Kaz continue to fight on the floor. They try to get back into the ring before 10, but fail to beat the count and this match ends in a double count out.
Move of the Match: There were a number of impressive moves, but I think I have to give this to the slingshot DDT from Kaz.
After the match, the two continue fighting until Flair comes in and breaks them up. He says they’re two of the best wrestlers alive. He tells them he got them a match at Victory Road. He tells them they’ll be a team, but doesn’t say who their opponents will be.
Angelina Love is in the back getting ready.
Angelina Love vs. Daffney is next. They lock up and trade control with various arm locks. Angelina hits a clothesline on Daffney. Daffney fights of Angelina, but runs into a spinning kick. Angelina gets sent into the corner, but comes back with a shot with her arm. Daffney fights out of a reverse chin lock with a jawbreaker. Angelina continues her attack with a pair of front slams and hits the Light’s Out for 3.
Move of the Match: This has to go to the Light’s Out from Angelina.
After the match, Angelina says that at Victory Road she will become the first 4 time TNA Knockouts Champion. Madison comes out and asks what Angelina is putting on the line on Sunday. She challenges Angelina to put her career on the line. Angelina informs Madison that if Lacey or Velvet interferes in the match at Victory Road, Madison will be disqualified and Angelina will become the Champion.
They replay the issues with Jesse Neal, Brother Ray and Brother Devon. Devon is in the ring with Ink Inc. Devon praises Neal saying he’s shown nothing but respect. He talks about the struggles Neal has dealt with and how Neal has respect and deserves respect. Ray asks Devon where his loyalty is and Devon answers that his loyalty lies with both Jesse and Ray. Ray announces that at Victory Road it will be him vs. Jesse vs. Devon in a three way dance.
Up next is Samoa Joe taking on Rob Van Dam. Joe and RVD trade blows. RVD hits a spinning kick to Joe and goes up top, but Joe catches him and tries to go for the Muscle Buster. RVD starts to fight Joe off, but Joe pushes RVD off the top rope into the ramp. Joe continues the attack on the outside and brings RVD back into the ring. RVD hits a spinning kick to Joe as he looks to come back into the ring. Joe avoids the baseball slide and gets back into the ring. Joe follows up with a suicide dive onto RVD. Dreamer, Rhino, Richards and Raven are in the Impact Zone again. Joe rolls RVD into the ring and covers for 2. Joe hits another strike to RVD, but RVD rolls him up for 2. RVD hits a dropkick on Joe. He continues the attack with a series of strikes and shoulder blocks in the corner. RVD flips out of the corner and hits a dropkick to Joe. He follows up with a slingshot leg drop on the apron. RVD covers, but only gets 2. The two trade blows again and Joe catches RVD with a snap powerslam for a 2 count. Joe locks in a face lock on RVD. RVD fights out and hits a series of shots and a spinning back kick. Joe comes back with a big clothesline for another 2 count. RVD avoids the attack in the corner and hits the springboard back kick for 2. RVD hits Rolling Thunder and gets a 2 count. RVD goes up top and hits his diving thrust kick, but still only gets 2. Joe comes out of the corner with another big clothesline. RVD goes for hits somersault Monkey Flip, but Joe catches him with a side slam. Joe hits a powerbomb and after he only gets 2, Joe rolls over into a modified Boston Crab. Joe converts to a single leg crab, but RVD reaches the ropes. Joe and RVD trade blows again. RVD gets a roll up, but Joe reverses into the Rear Naked Choke. RVD runs up the corner and flips over. Joe maintains the hold, but his shoulders are down and the referee counts 3.
Move of the Match: I think I’m going to give this to Joe’s unique variation of the Boston Crab after his big powerbomb.
After the match, Joe attacks the referee and hits him with the Muscle Buster.
Angle talks about his wrestling the top ten is because he likes pressure and it puts pressure on him.
Jeremy Buck vs. Douglas Williams in a ladder match. According to Taz, Williams is afraid of heights. Williams gets control early, but Buck fights back. Buck nails Williams with a back elbow and then hits a springboard crossbody. Williams avoids an attack from Buck and slides out of the ring, but Buck comes back and hits his moonsault off the apron onto Williams. Buck gets the ladder and brings it into the ring. He sets up the ladder, but Williams catches him and sets him up in the Tree of Woe. Williams starts to climb the ladder, but he’s slow and Buck takes him off with a dropkick off the top rope. Williams takes down Buck and sets up the ladder in the corner. He sets up Buck on the ladder and charges after, but Buck moves and Williams hits his knee on the ladder. Buck catches Williams and catapults him into the ladder. Williams fights back and tries to hits Buck with the ladder, but Buck dropkicks the ladder into Williams and then hits a slingshot facebuster sending Williams into the ladder. Buck starts to climb the ladder, but Williams takes him down with an electric chair drop. Williams starts to climb again, but Buck goes from the top rope onto the ladder and then hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Williams off the ladder. Buck starts to climb the ladder and Williams jumps at him, but Buck catches Williams with a back kick from the ladder. Buck climbs up to the top and takes down the X to win the ladder match.
Move of the Match: I think I’ll give this to Buck’s sunset flip powerbomb off the ladders.
They play a promo showing highlights of their recent shows in New York.
They show a promo with Alex Shelley warning about the evils of Beer Money.
Beer Money, Inc. and Matt Morgan vs. The Motor City Machine Guns and Hernandez is up next. Roode and Sabin start out. Roode controls Sabin’s arm, but Sabin fights back with speed. He hits a diving huracanrana out of the corner and tags in Shelley. Sabin hits a scoop slam and Shelley comes in with a slingshot elbow drop. Sabin comes back in with a senton and Shelley hits a knee drop while Sabin hits a leg drop. Shelley covers for a 2 count. Roode makes it to his corner and tags in Storm. Shelley ducks the double clothesline attempt and pushes Roode into Storm then rolls to his corner and tags in Sabin. Sabin hits a running back elbow to Storm in the corner. Sabin tries to float over in the corner, but Storm catches him and sends him to the apron. Sabin fights off Storm, but Morgan nails Sabin with a big boot on the apron. Roode rolls Sabin back into the ring and Storm tags in Morgan. Morgan hits a clothesline and steps on Sabin’s chest. He performs a rope aided surfboard and tags Storm back in. Storm hits a series of shots on Sabin. Sabin starts to fight back, but he runs into a knee strike and Storm covers for a 2 count, but Shelley breaks up the count. Roode comes in and Storm goes out. Roode sends Sabin into the corner and gets a 2 count. Sabin escapes a back suplex and slides through Roode’s legs. He catches Roode with a spinning back kick and tags in Hernandez. Storm comes in, but Hernandez takes on him and Roode. Hernandez goes after Morgan, but Morgan backs off and backs up the ramp. Hernandez hits a big strike on Roode and tags in Shelley. Shelley whips Hernandez into Roode in the corner. Hernandez catapults Roode into Shelley who hits his complete shot into the turnbuckle. Shelley goes for Sliced Bread #2, but Roode tosses him off. Storm attacks Shelley from behind, but Hernandez comes in with his flying shoulder block onto both of them. Hernandez chases Morgan up the ramp and out of the arena. The guns double team Roode in the corner. They look for the neckbreaker/crossbody combo, but Storm interferes. Sabin takes out Storm with a dropkick and a suicide dive. Shelley hits a cross body on Roode, but Roode rolls through for the 3 count.
Move of the Match: I think I have to give this to Hernandez catapulting Roode into Shelley’s complete shot.
In the back, Pope says he’s not sure he can trust Mr. Anderson, but right now he has to focus on Angle at Victory Road.
In the back, Kevin Nash is waiting to talk to Eric Bischoff. Hogan comes in and talks with Nash about how Hall and Syxx-Pac got contracts. Hogan says they used a run around and that it wasn’t cool. He says he’ll tell Bischoff that Nash is waiting to see him.
Jay Lethal is in the ring. Lethal says his mind has been on his mother recently. He says he plans to make her the proudest mother in the world when he beats Flair at Victory Road. Flair comes out to the ring. Flair says Lethal is dressed like a street punk. Flair talks about his career. Flair says that in three days he will beat Lethal.
They run down the Victory Road card.
Mr. Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy is the main event. The two lock up and Anderson pushes Hardy into the ropes. Hardy gets control of Anderson’s arm and works on it. Anderson fights Hardy off. He blocks a hip toss and goes for the Green Bay Plunge, but Hardy blocks it. Anderson catches Hardy with a spinning neckbreaker and covers for 2. Anderson picks up Hardy, but Hardy hits a jawbreaker. Hardy hits a mule kick, but Anderson avoids the dropkick in the corner and covers for 2. Hardy catches Anderson with a short arm clothesline for 2. Hardy hits a clothesline in the corner, but Anderson fights off the bulldog. Hardy hits Whisper in the Wind out of the corner for 2. Anderson fights out of the Twist of Fate and hits the Green Bay Plunge for a 2 count. Anderson goes up top and tries to hit the Swanton on Hardy, but Hardy moves. Hardy catches Anderson with the Twist of Fate and covers for 3.
Move of the Match: There were a number of moves worth mentioning, but I think this has to go to the Twist of Fate.
After the match, Abyss comes out with the weapon he made last week. The referee manages to take the weapon away and Hardy and Anderson double team Abyss. Abyss fights back and hits a double clothesline. Abyss chokeslams Hardy and drops Anderson with a big boot. He goes after his weapon and gets it back. Abyss swings it at Anderson, but he moves. It gets stuck and pulls the entire turnbuckle off. RVD comes out and Abyss tosses the weapon aside. Abyss catches RVD and tosses him out of the ring. Hardy gets up and Anderson slides in with a chair. Anderson motions to Hardy to move and nails Abyss with the chair. RVD comes in and takes the chair from Anderson. He uses the chair and hits Abyss with the Vandaminator. RVD, Hardy and Anderson shake hands and stand in the ring. Abyss starts to get up as Impact ends.

Superstars 7/8/10
Superstars opens with Primo and Jillian taking on Yoshi Tatsu and Gail Kim. The Bella Twins are special guest referees for this match. Gail and Jillian start out in the match. Jillian takes Gail down with a hard slap. She tosses Gail by her hair and gets a 1 count. Jillian takes down Gail with a snapmare and kicks her in the back. Gail fights back with a running strike and Jillian tags in Primo. Primo stalks Gail and then goes after Yoshi, but Yoshi hits a pair of Japanese arm drags. Yoshi goes after Primo, but Jillian grabs his legs. Gail comes off the top and hits Primo with a diving huracanrana. Yoshi hits a series of chops on Primo. Primo fights back with a kick to the throat. He takes Yoshi down and hits a series of strikes. Primo hits a snapmare and locks in a reverse chin lock. Yoshi fights back, but Primo sends him into the corner and hits a shoulder block and a series of strikes. Primo takes Yoshi down with a big European uppercut and covers for 2. Primo hits multiple strikes to Yoshi. He goes up top, but Yoshi answers the diving fist drop by getting his feet up. Primo tags in Jillian and Gail comes off the top with a crossbody. Gail hits strikes and nails her crossbody in the corner. Jillian and Gail fight on the ropes. Gail goes for a rolling powerbomb off the top, but Jillian hangs on to the ropes. Gail and Jillian take each other down with clotheslines. Primo comes into the ring and Yoshi nails him with a spinning kick. Jillian attacks Yoshi from behind and the Bella in the ring backs her up. Jillian gets mad and hits the Bella. The other gets in the ring and Jillian hits her too. Gail rolls up Jillian and one of the Bellas fast counts her to give Gail and Yoshi the win.
Move of the Match: There were a number of good moves, but this either has to go to Yoshi’s spinning kick that took out Primo, or Gail’s diving huracanrana on Primo from early on.
Up next is Zack Ryder taking on Goldust. Goldust overpowers Ryder to start and hits an arm drag, but Ryder backs into the ropes. Ryder tries to avoid Ryder, but gets caught with an arm drag. Ryder sends Goldust off and goes for the leapfrog, but Goldust halts and then hits Ryder with a clothesline. Goldust follows up and sends Ryder out of the ring with a hip bump. Back from break Goldust catapults Ryder into the ropes and Ryder falls back into a backbreaker. Goldust goes up top, but Ryder gets up and hangs Goldust up on the ropes. Ryder continues the attack on Goldust and hits a running face was for 2. Ryder locks in a reverse chin lock on Goldust. Goldust fights back and nails Ryder with a pair of clotheslines. He catches Ryder with his uppercut and follows up with an inverted atomic drop and a bulldog for 2. Goldust hits punches to Ryder in the corner. Ryder pushes him off, but runs into a snap scoop slam for 2. Ryder fights back and sends Goldust into the middle turnbuckle. He catches Goldust with the Rough Ryder and covers for 3.
Move of the Match: There were a number of impressive moves, but I’m really starting to like the Rough Ryder and I’m going to give it the title of Move of the Match.

Back on Superstars, we see the return of the Masterlock Challenge. Taking the challenge is one half of the Dudebusters, Caylen Croft. Croft is initially hesitant, but he lets Masters lock in the Masterlock. Croft tries to fight out, but cannot and Masters wins the challenge. He challenges Trent Barreta to take the challenge. Masters goes to lock in the Masterlock on Barreta, but Croft jumps him from behind and they double team him. Croft and Barreta hit their inverted atomic drop/running knee combo on Masters and leave.
They play a promo for Jack Swagger, a replay of the Nexus events on RAW and they run down the Money in the Bank Card.
Tonight’s main event is Team LayCool taking on the Blondetourage (Kelly Kelly and Tiffany). McCool and Tiffany start out. McCool takes a cheap shot at Tiffany, but Tiffany goes after her and locks in an arm lock. McCool pulls Tiffany’s hair, but gets caught with a shoulder block. Tiffany follows up with a drop toe hold and an inverted atomic drop. Tiffany hits a series of shots and a monkey flip out of the corner. She nails McCool with a clothesline and tags in Kelly. Kelly hits a sunset flip off the top for a 2 count, but McCool fights back and brings Kelly to her corner. Layla tags in and goes after Kelly, but she gets taken down and slammed to the mat. Kelly tags in Tiffany who hits a hair whip and a dropkick. Layla rolls out, but Tiffany goes after her and brings her back in. Layla kicks Tiffany as she starts to come back in and slams her head into the mat. Layla tags McCool back in and McCool hits a big kick. McCool hits a series of knees to Tiffany. NXT 7/6/10
The Rookies come out to the ring to start NXT. Striker asks some of the rookies about their rankings from last week. He then introduces tonight’s challenge, the Talk the Talk Challenge. This will be very similar to last seasons, except this season they have 10 seconds to think about their topic and 30 seconds to think. The winner of this challenge will get to host their own talk show next week.
Percy Watson’s topic is “glasses.” Watson says he wants to talk about his glasses. He says he wears them because he feels you have to have a vision to know where you’re going.
Kaval’s topic is “chicken.” He says chicken is something you cannot be in the WWE. He says that while he’s the smallest competitor, he has a big heart and he is not a chicken.
Eli Cottonwood’s topic is “mustache.” Cottonwood says a mustache is for a real man. He says that while he doesn’t have a full mustache, he has the best mustache of the rookies there. He also says that by next week he could have a full mustache to prove he is a real man.
Michael McGillicutty’s topic is “breath.” He talks about being a third generation superstar. He says that by the end of NXT he’ll “take your breath away.”
Husky Harris’ topic is “doorknob.” He says he used the doorknob to get in because like McGillicutty, his father was also a wrestler. He says that since the universe voted him 7th, they don’t deserve to hear him talk.
Lucky Cannon’s topic is “deodorant.” He says deodorant is something people with bad odor need, but deodorant has no function without the smelly individual. Lucky says he’s like the deodorant and the WWE is like the smelly individual, he needs the WWE and the WWE needs him.
Alex Riley’s topic is “pigeon.” Riley says Kaval got the subject of “chicken.” He says he’s the rooster in the hen house and he’s here with 6 pigeons.
Striker has the universe vote. Watson, Kaval and Lucky Cannon all get cheers. The other 4 all get booed. “Showtime” Percy Watson is declared the winner of the segment.
Tonight’s opening match is “Showtime” Percy Watson taking on Michael McGillicutty. Watson catches McGillicutty with a unique variation of a dropkick and locks in a grounded side headlock. McGillicutty fights out and catches Watson with a dropkick of his own. McGillicutty drops Watson with a snapmare and covers for 2. He locks in a reverse chin lock on Watson. Watson fights back and dodges a clothesline, but McGillicutty turns around and drops Watson with a clothesline to the back. He nails Watson with a backbreaker for 2. McGillicutty goes back to the reverse chin lock. Watson fights back and nails McGillicutty with a pair of dropkicks. McGillicutty comes back with a sunset flip and picks up the 3 count.
Move of the Match: I have to give this to McGillicutty’s clothesline to the back. It was an impressive and rarely seen move.
The replay highlights of last weeks keg carry. They follow up with a video of the Pro’s talking about Titus O’Neil and the reasons behind his elimination.
The Miz vs. Kaval is next. Kaval hits Miz with some big kicks. Miz fights back, but Kaval backs him into the corner. Miz comes out of the corner with a big boot and goes after Kaval’s head. He hits a grounded big boot and chokes Kaval on the ropes. Miz continues the attack on Kaval and chokes him in the corner. Miz hits his running clothesline into the corner and covers for 2. Miz locks Kaval in a camel clutch chin lock, but Kaval fights out. Miz goes for a back suplex, but Kaval flips out and drops Miz with a cross body for a 2 count. Miz comes back and throws Kaval out of the ring. Back from break, Miz is still in control of Kaval. Kaval fights back. He gets a sunset flip and follows up with a double foot stomp. Kaval hits a series of forearms and kicks. He hits the Tidal Krush in the corner and covers for 2. Kaval goes up top, but Miz knocks him down on the ropes. Kaval fights Miz off, but Miz sweeps his legs to hang him up on the top rope. Miz grabs Kaval and hits the Skull Crushing Finale for the 3 count.
Move of the Match: The Skull Crushing Finale is impressive, but I’m going to give this to the Tidal Krush because I enjoy watching that move.
They play a promo talking about Eli Cottonwood. They play videos showing what happened on RAW between Cena and the Nexus and run down the current Money in the Bank card. They follow this up with a promo for Husky Harris which includes the Pro’s commenting on him having a lot of potential.
Husky Harris and Cody Rhodes vs. Mark Henry and Lucky Cannon is up next. Lucky Cannon and Husky Harris start out. Lucky gets control early with a fireman’s carry takedown. He gets an arm lcok and tags in Mark Henry. Husky escapes and tags in Rhodes. Henry overpowers Rhodes. He drops him with a military press slam. Henry goes to sit on Rhodes, but Rhodes moves. Husky is tagged in and he and Rhodes double team Henry. They trade tags so they can continue the double team legally. Husky hits a 3 point stance clothesline on Henry in the corner. Husky turns his back on Henry and when he turns back around, Henry drops him with a huge clothesline. Husky tags in Rhodes and Henry tags in Lucky. Lucky takes down Rhodes, but Rhodes fights out of the corner. Lucky fights back with a back body drop and gets a 2 count, but Husky breaks it up. Henry hits a running attack on Husky and headbutts Rhodes. Lucky goes after Rhodes, but Rhodes recovers from the headbutt and turns the attack around into the Cross Rhodes. Rhodes covers for 3 to pick up the win.

Kaval’s topic is “chicken.” He says chicken is something you cannot be in the WWE. He says that while he’s the smallest competitor, he has a big heart and he is not a chicken.
Eli Cottonwood’s topic is “mustache.” Cottonwood says a mustache is for a real man. He says that while he doesn’t have a full mustache, he has the best mustache of the rookies there. He also says that by next week he could have a full mustache to prove he is a real man.

Alex Riley’s topic is “pigeon.” Riley says Kaval got the subject of “chicken.” He says he’s the rooster in the hen house and he’s here with 6 pigeons.
Striker has the universe vote. Watson, Kaval and Lucky Cannon all get cheers. The other 4 all get booed. “Showtime” Percy Watson is declared the winner of the segment.

McGillicutty goes back to the reverse chin lock. Watson fights back and nails McGillicutty with a pair of dropkicks. McGillicutty comes back with a sunset flip and picks up the 3 count.
Move of the Match: I have to give this to McGillicutty’s clothesline to the back. It was an impressive and rarely seen move.

RAW 7/5/10
RAW opens with the Nexus in the ring. Wade Barrett says they cannot reveal right now why they did what they did to Mr. McMahon, but it needed to happen. Barrett gives the mic to Skip Sheffield. Sheffield says what they did to the Legends last week was for fun. Sheffield is interrupted by the computer sounding. Michael Cole reads the email which states that as punishment for the assault on Vince McMahon, none of the Nexus can compete for any WWE Title until further notice. It also notes that the ruling about Nexus members and WWE superstars not being able to touch one another has been lifted. John Cena comes out. Cena says the Nexus hasn’t had a fair fight since they came here and to do so, it would need to be 7 on 7. Cena is joined by Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth, The Hart Dynasty and Evan Bourne. They start to make their way down to the ring, but they’re jumped by Sheamus, Edge, The Usos, Ted DiBiase, The Miz, and Chris Jericho. The fight goes into the ring and Cena and his allies clean house. Sheamus says that the WWE superstar the Nexus attacks over and over is Cena. Orton takes the mic from Cena. He says he and Cena aren’t friends and probably never will be unless they have to. Orton says the Nexus is a threat to all of them. The GM sends another email. It says that all 8 members of the MITB Ladder Match will be in action against each other tonight. The email asks Cena to step into the ring with Barrett tonight to shake hands and call a truce.
Tonight’s opening match is John Morrison taking on Ted DiBiase. DiBiase gets control early with a back body drop and stomps on Morrison’s chest. DiBiase hits a series of knees to Morrison and locks in a body scissors. Morrison fights back, but DiBiase maintains control. Morrison comes back and rolls DiBiase up for 2. He hits a big clothesline and a spinning kick for another 2 count. Morrison looks for the Moonlight Drive, but DiBiase shoves him off and as he comes back hits a scoop slam for a 2 count. Morrison hits his bicycle kick and both men are down in the ring. Maryse grabs Morrison’s coat from ringside and climbs up on the steel steps. DiBiase takes advantage of the distraction to poke Morrison in the eye and he hits Dream Street on Morrison to pick up the win.
Move of the Match: There were a handful of good moves in this match, but I’m going to give this to Dream Street.
Santino and Kozlov are in the back preparing for a match. Kozlov tells Santino that if they lose, he will pound his fist in Santino’s face.
Santino and Kozlov vs. William Regal and The Great Khali. Kozlov and Regal start out. Kozlov overpowers Regal and hits a series of headbutts. He tags in Santino. Santino starts to go up top, but then goes back to the bottom rope and hits a double axe handle to Regal. Santino goes for a kick, but misses Regal by a few feet. Regal looks at him like he’s crazy. He wants Regal to come closer. He starts to set up the Cobra, but Regal hits him from behind. Regal nails him with an exploder suplex and Santino tags Kozlov back in. Kozlov fights off Regal. He hits a thrust kick and follows up with the Iron Curtain for the 3 count and the win.
Move of the Match: Regal had a nice exploder suplex, but this has to go to the Iron Curtain.
After the match, Khali gets in the ring and tells Santino to pick Regal up. Kozlov helps him and Khali nails Regal with a big chop. Santino joins Khali in celebrating in the ring and Kozlov looks mildly entertained.
They replay the attack on the Legends from last week. In the back, Arn Anderson talks to Josh Matthews about the attack. He says Ricky Steamboat’s condition is serious. Sheamus comes up behind Anderson and he sends Josh away. Sheamus says Anderson is a pathetic old man. Anderson says Sheamus is blind and stupid. He tells Sheamus that if the company goes down, Sheamus’ championship will be worthless because he’ll be “a great white shark patrolling around an empty mudhole.”
R-Truth vs. The Miz is next. Miz comes out and nails R-Truth in the head with his microphone. He sends Truth into the ring steps and the ring post. Miz slams Truth shoulder first into the ring post again and continues the attack on the arm. Miz says that people who get into the ring with him will get hurt.
Edge comes out for the Cutting Edge. He talks about Money in the Bank and how he has held it and cashed it in twice. He calls out his first guest, Evan Bourne, but Chris Jericho comes out instead. He says he won’t take a backseat to Bourne. Jericho points out that he beat Edge at Wrestlemania. Jericho says Edge has always wanted to be him. He points out how Edge’s career has mirrored his. Edge finally attacks Jericho, but Jericho fights back against him and locks him in the Walls of Jericho. Evan Bourne comes in and hits Jericho with a springboard double knee strike to Jericho. He leapfrogs over Edge and dodges an attack from Jericho. Bourne rolls out of the ring and backs up the ramp with both Edge and Jericho calling him back into the ring. The computer beeps and Cole announces that Edge and Chris Jericho are going to team up to face Bourne and his tag team partner, Randy Orton.

Bourne fights back with a high knee to Jericho. He hits a back elbow in the corner and his running knee for 2. Bourne continues the attack and tags in Orton. Orton hits a series of shots on Jericho in the corner. He taunts a possible RKO, but Jericho gets a burst of energy and tags in Edge. Orton overpowers Edge and hits a clothesline followed by a big knee drop for 2. Orton takes Edge down again and starts his stomping. He brings Edge to his corner and tags in Bourne. Orton hits a drop toe hold to Edge and Bourne follows with a running dropkick. Edge tries to fight back, but takes another kick and tags in Jericho. Bourne nails Jericho with a dropkick and Jericho rolls out of the ring. Bourne hits Jericho with a baseball slide and dives out onto him. Back in the ring, Jericho dodges a kick and nails Bourne with a clothesline. Back from break, Edge has Bourne in a rear waist lock and is applying pressure. Bourne starts to fight back and hits some kick, but Edge hits the Edge-O-Matic for a 2 count. Edge tags in Jericho who hits a backbreaker on Bourne and maintains the position for a potential submission hold. Bourne fights out with big kicks to Jericho. Jericho tags in Edge and Edge grabs Bourne. Edge goes for a suplex, but Bourne nails Edge with a pair of knees and when Edge sets him down, Bourne hits a spinning kick to Edge. Jericho is tagged back in, but Bourne also makes the tag. Orton hits Jericho with his scoop slam and follows up with a rope hung DDT. Edge distracts Orton and Jericho nails him with a running enzuigiri. Edge tags back in and attacks Orton’s shoulder. Edge tags Jericho back in and Jericho continues the attack. The referee backs Jericho off and Edge attacks Orton from the apron. Orton starts to fight back, but he gets caught with a dropkick from Jericho for a 2 count. Jericho locks in a reverse chin lock on Orton. Orton fights back, but Jericho hits a running bulldog. Jericho goes for the Lionsault, but Orton rolls out of the way. Edge and Bourne are tagged in. Bourne hits a running huracanrana and a dropkick. He nails Edge with a spinning kick. Edge counters a springboard crossbody with a big boot and tags in Jericho. Bourne hits a jumping kick to Jericho. Edge is fed up with Jericho and he spears him. Bourne goes up top and hits Air Bourne on Jericho for the 3 count.

After the match, Bourne and Orton celebrate until Orton suddenly turns Bourne around and nails him with an RKO.
In the back Orton is confronted by David Otunga, Heath Slater and Michael Tarver. They tell Orton the only reason they jumped him at Fatal 4-Way was to make a statement. They tell him that they will not interfere in the MITB Ladder Match. Otunga points out that once the cage rises after the steel cage match, the champion will be in a vulnerable position, but if the winner of MITB is against them, they can make sure there won’t be a new champion. Orton says he’s heard what they have to say and tells them to get out of his face.
Josh Matthews announces that at MITB, the Hart Dynasty will defend their Tag Team Titles against the Usos. One of the Usos bets the other the Josh doesn’t know which one he’s talking to. Tamina tells Josh which one is Jimmy and which one is Jey. Jey says that in 2 weeks they’ll be the Unified Tag Team Champs. Alicia Fox comes up. She says it’s been 2 weeks since she won the Diva’s Championship and she has not been interviewed. She says her victory at Fatal 4-Way was not a fluke and she’ll prove it tonight.
Eve Torres vs. Alicia Fox is next. Eve gains control early with a pair of dropkicks. She clotheslines Alicia and covers for 2. She tosses Alicia across the ring and Alicia is holding her leg. Alicia tells the referee she wants to continue, but keeps holding her leg. Eve goes after Alicia, but Alicia catches her with a knee and then (now showing no sign of pain in her leg) hits her Scissors Kick on Eve and covers for the 3 count.

Barrett tells Cena to shake his hand or face the consequences. Cena clasps hands with him and picks him up for the Attitude Adjustment. Barrett escapes as the rest of Nexus hits the ring. Bourne comes out, but the numbers game takes him out as well. Morrison comes out, but is also quickly outnumbered. Mark Henry’s music hits and he comes out joined by Khali, Kozlov, Santino, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu and the Hart Dynasty. Nexus flees the ring and Young is left in the middle of the ring. The computer beeps and Cole reads the message which says “If things don’t stop now, there will be consequences.” Cena locks in the STF on Young. The computer beeps again and Cole announces that because of his actions, Cena will face all 7 members of Nexus next week in a 7 on 1 handicap match. Cena goes after Young again. He beats on him and sends him into the ring post where he falls to the outside. Cena picks up the ring steps and throws them at Young. He picks up Young and throws him over the announce table. Cena then flips the announce table over onto Young. Cena stands in the ring to end RAW.

SmackDown 7/2/10
SmackDown opens with Jack Swagger coming out to the ring. Swagger says that he wants to make people suffer. They replay the video of Swagger locking in an Ankle Lock on Show and refusing to relinquish it. Swagger says he was cheated out of his title in a Fatal Four Way Match because there were no rules to protect him. Big Show comes out. Show makes fun of Swagger and offers to call him a “Waambulance.” He says that Swagger started something he should’ve finished. He says Swagger hurt him, but Swagger didn’t finish the job. Show challenges Swagger to try to put the Ankle Lock on him again. Show says that Swagger lives in a fantasy world and while Swagger may think he can break Show’s Ankle, Show knows he can break Swagger’s jaw. Show starts down to the ring, but Cody Rhodes comes in and clips him from behind with a chop block. Swagger and Rhodes double team Show with the focus on his ankle. Show starts to fight back by overpowering Swagger and Rhodes. Mysterio hits the ring and takes Swagger down with a seated senton. He uses a head scissors takedown to send Rhodes out of the ring and Swagger rolls out the other side. Show and Mysterio stand tall in the ring while Swagger and Rhodes back up the ramp.
They announce those competitors that have been named for the SmackDown Money in the Bank Match. Those competitors are Kane, Matt Hardy, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, Christian, Kofi Kingston and the Big Show. That means there are still 2 spots open.
Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler is the first match tonight. Dolph gets a takedown early. He and Kofi trade nearfalls. Kofi hits Dolph with a standing Monkey Flip. Dolph shoots Kofi off and Kofi goes for Trouble in Paradise, but Dolph sees it coming and rolls out of the ring. Back from break, Dolph is in control of Kofi with a modified chin lock. Dolph continues the attack on Kofi and covers for a quick 1 count. Dolph hits Kofi with a running neck snap. Dollph takes Kofi down again and hits a jumping elbow drop for 2. Dolph continues the attack and sends Kofi into the corner. Kofi uses a pendulum kick variation to take Dolph down. He goes up top and hits the crossbody for 2. Kofi hits a pair of double chops and a dropkick. He hits the jumping clothesline and nails Dolph with the Boom Drop. Dolph dodges Trouble in Paradise and hits Kofi with a leg drop bulldog for a 2 count. Dolph is mad that he only got 2 and Kofi takes advantage of Dolph’s showing his anger to recover and nails Dolph with Trouble in Paradise for a 3 count.
Move of the Match: There were a handful of good moves, but I really think this should go to the leg drop bulldog because that move looked impressive and vicious.
After the match, Vickie Guerrero leaves Ziggler in the ring and walks to the back on her own.
CM Punk is in the back with his arm in a sling. Punk says he has the situation under control. Serena says the situation is not under control. Punk asks her if she trusts him. She says she does and he says to let them take care of it.
Up next is the Peep Show. The ring has 3 ladders in it with 2 others at ringside. Matt Hardy is sitting in the guest’s seat. Christian asks Hardy about McIntyre being deported and Hardy says “It couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.” Christian says it was good to see Hardy in the ring with McIntyre without him being dropped on his head. Hardy says that despite everything that has happened to him, he’s kept coming back. Christian says Hardy will not win the MITB Match. Christian says no one deserves to win it more than him or Matt Hardy. Christian says he will win it. Hardy and Christian begin to climb the ladder as Hardy points out how similar their careers have been. He says that whoever wins the match will have the opportunity to reap a great reward. Christian says they’re both confident and that’s a good thing. Christian points out that neither of them has ever been the “Chosen One” like Drew McIntyre. Christian says this is his time and he is going to win Money in the Bank. Hardy says that he hopes that in the MITB Match it comes down to the two who deserve it more than anyone else, him and Christian. They both say they’re going to win the match. Christian goes to leave, but suddenly turns around toward Hardy. Hardy nails Christian with a right hand and throws him into a ladder. Hardy leaves the ring with Christian down.
They play a promo for Alberto del Rio.
Cody Rhodes is in the back. He looks around to see if anyone is watching. He doesn’t see anyone and he interviews himself. Cody keeps repeating the word “dashing” throughout his fictional interview.
Kane is out next for his match with Luke Gallows. Kane takes the attack to Gallows to start the match. He backs Gallows into the corner and hits a series of blows. Kane chokes Gallows on the ropes. He sends Gallows into the corner and hits a clothesline. Gallows starts to fight back and hits a series of strikes to Kane. He hits a big clothesline and repeatedly kicks Kane in the back. Gallows goes for a splash in the corner, but Kane catches him by the throat. The masked SES member hits the ring and attacks Kane from behind causing the disqualification.
Move of the Match: With the lack of moves before the DQ, I honestly have to give this to Gallows’ vicious clothesline.
After the match, Kane chokeslams the masked man and Gallows. Punk comes into the ring and Kane is after him, but Serena runs out. Serena says she can prove Punk is innocent. She gets into the ring and says that on the day everything happened, Punk was saving her. She shows a video of herself drinking in a bar that ends with the SES confronting her. Kane lets Punk go and leaves the ring. Serena runs to Punk, but he wants nothing to do with her and leaves.
Up next is MVP taking on Chavo Guerrero. Chavo says he hopes his Aunt Vickie is watching because he can get the job done and he will. Chavo gets control early, but MVP fights back with a series of strikes. Chavo hits a rolling kick for a quick 1 count. Chavo stomps on MVP and covers again, but still only gets 2. Chavo hits the 3 Amigos and goes up top, but MVP avoids the attack. He counters Chavo with a belly to belly throw and hits a series of strikes. MVP hits his knee facebuster and drops the Ballin’ Elbow on Chavo. MVP drops Chavo with the Play of the Day and gets the win.
Move of the Match: I like the Play of the Day and it looked even more impressive than usual in this match, but I want to give this to the 3 Amigos from Chavo because it was great to see him successfully hit all 3.
The next match is Michelle McCool vs. Kelly Kelly. McCool takes a cheap shot at Tiffany on the outside and slams her into the ring barrier. The referee starts the match and McCool slides out of the ring. She gets back into the ring at 4 and Kelly immediately attacks her. McCool fights back with a kick and nails Kelly with a series of strikes. McCool hits knees to Kelly and sends her into the corner. McCool hits kicks in the corner and follows up by choking Kelly with her boot. The referee backs McCool off and Layla comes up and sprays hair spray all over Kelly. Tiffany is back up and she nails Layla with a clothesline on the outside. McCool kicks Tiffany, but Kelly takes advantage to roll up McCool for the 3 count.
Move of the Match: There weren’t that many moves, but I’m going to give this to the big kick McCool hit early on to gain control for a while.

Mysterio comes out to the ring. He says it feels great to be the World Heavyweight Champion. He says he is ready for whatever obstacles may come. He says that while he’s Champion, his opponents won’t be competing just against him, but against the entire 619.

Rhodes goes for a super back suplex, but Mysterio knocks him off and hits a seated senton when Rhodes gets back up. Swagger makes the blind tag and Mysterio sets up Rhodes for the 619, but runs into a boot from Swagger. Swagger hits shoulder blocks on Mysterio in the corner. Swagger tosses Mysterio across the ring. He backs Mysterio into the corner and tags in Rhodes. Rhodes takes down Mysterio and hits a knee drop. Rhodes locks in a surfboard stretch on Mysterio. Mysterio fights back with kicks. Rhodes comes back and hits his springboard roundhouse kick for a 2 count. Rhodes tags in Swagger and hits a scoop slam. Swagger hits his slingshot corner splash and locks in a body scissors. Mysterio fights back and goes for a springboard moonsault attack, but Swagger catches him. Swagger looks like he’s about to go for a powerbomb, but Mysterio swings out and hits a DDT on Swagger. Mysterio tags in Show who takes down Swagger with a pair of clotheslines. Show sets up Swagger in the corner and hits his hip attack in the corner. He drops Swagger with a shoulder block and signals for the chokeslam. Swagger tries to counter the chokeslam into the Ankle Lock again, but Show counters and hits a wheelbarrow suplex. Show tags Mysterio back in and Mysterio hits a springboard leg drop on Swagger. Rhodes breaks up the 3 count and dropkicks Show off the apron. Mysterio sets Swagger up for the 619, but Swagger catches him and locks in the Ankle Lock. The referee counts to 5 and Swagger once again refuses to release the hold.
Move of the Match: I really want to give this to Show’s Wheelbarrow Suplex as a counter to Swagger’s attack.
After the match, Show goes after Swagger, but Swagger drags Mysterio out of the ring while maintaining the hold. He finally breaks the hold and leaves.

IMPACT 7/1/10
Impact opens with Abyss throwing chairs into the ring. Abyss turns his focus to So Cal Val and Hogan comes out to stop him. Bischoff comes out to try to talk some sense into Hogan. Abyss threatens Hogan and Bischoff slaps him. Abyss takes out security and goes after Bischoff. Hogan hits Abyss with one of the chairs, but Abyss turns around and tries to chokeslam Hogan. Jeff Hardy comes out to the ring. He hits Abyss with the Twist of Fate. He hits Abyss with multiple chairs and then hits the Swanton on Abyss. Hardy, Bischoff and Hogan leave the ring. Abyss comes up to the announce table and has a stare down with Tazz.
Hardy wants Abyss tonight and Hogan and Bischoff give him the match.
The first match is Ink Inc. taking on The Motor City Machine Guns. Shelley and Moore start out. Moore gets control first and he and Shelley trade wrist locks. Moore and Shelley trade moves and Moore hits an arm drag. Moore tags in Neal and they hit a double hip toss. Moore hip tosses Neal onto Shelley and Neal covers for 1. Neal tags Moore back in and Moore hits a sunset flip for 2. Moore goes for his wheelbarrow bulldog, but catches Shelley by the arm instead and sends him out of the ring. Sabin comes in after Moore, but Moore hits a head scissor takedown to send Sabin out as well. Moore sets up and flies out onto the Guns. Brother Devon has joined the broadcast team. He says he wants to make sure Ray doesn’t interfere. The guns hit one of their combos with the inverted atomic drop followed by a low dropkick and Shelley locking in an inverted STF so Sabin can hit the dropkick to the face. Sabin springs of Shelley’s back to knock Neal off the apron. Sabin sends Moore into Shelley’s boots and tags in Shelley. Moore starts to fight back, but Shelley continues to work the arm. Sabin is tagged in and he hits an elbow drop for a 2 count. Moore fights back and hits a springboard moonsault move. Neal and Shelley are tagged in. Neal takes down Shelley with a series of shots and hits a springboard crossbody on Sabin. He nails Shelley with the spear, but Sabin breaks up the count. Moore comes in and goes after Sabin. He tries to float over in the corner, but Sabin catches him and sends him out to the floor. Neal hits a swinging side slam on Sabin. Neal looks for a superplex on Shelley. Brother Ray comes out and Devon goes to stop him from interfering. Sabin takes advantage of the distraction and hits Neal from behind. The Guns nail Neal with Made in Detroit to pick up the win.
Move of the Match: There were a lot of great moves, but this has to go to Made in Detroit.
Eric Bischoff comes out and announces that in tonight’s match between Abyss and Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam will be the special guest referee.
Dixie Carter is in the back and doesn’t answer when asked why she’s not at ringside.
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe is next. Joe comes out and throws his towel at Ric Flair. Joe overpowers AJ to start, but AJ sends Joe into the corner and hits a big chop. Joe no sells the chops and knocks AJ to the mat. Joe puts AJ in the corner and hits a series of shots. Joe hits a back elbow and the jumping kick in the corner. Joe hits a big knife edged chop in the corner. He hits a chop to AJ’s back, a kick to AJ’s chest and then hits a big knee drop. Joe gets a running start and AJ goes for a leapfrog, but Joe stops and nails AJ with a big slap. AJ fights back with a thumb to the eye and nails Joe with a vicious dropkick. AJ chokes Joe on the ropes until the referee pulls him off. AJ hits a front slam on Joe. Joe blocks the Suplex from AJ and hits a front suplex in response. AJ hits a dropkick to Joe’s knee. He drops Joe with a snapmare and locks in a chin lock. Joe fights back and nails AJ with a series of clotheslines. AJ goes for a springboard move, but Joe hits an inverted atomic drop and follows up with a big boot and a jumping senton for a 2 count. Joe tries to set AJ up for the Muscle Buster, but AJ fights out. Joe hits a pair of kicks, but AJ counters the third and hits a Dragon Screw. AJ looks for the Figure Four, but Joe counters and locks in the Rear Naked Choke. AJ taps out and Joe wins the match.
Move of the Match: There were a number of good moves, but I really like the Rear Naked Choke.
After the match, Flair starts to leave and AJ argues with Kazarian. He calls out Kaz and says he could beat him. He challenges Kaz to a match next week. Flair likes the idea and Kaz seems to accept the challenge.
We see Hulk, Bischoff and Dixie Carter talking in the back. Bischoff says Sting has become self-obsessed and dangerous. Kevin Nash comes in and Hogan asks him for a couple of minute and Nash leaves. They tell Dixie that Sting is a cancer who needs to be cut out. They says that she needs to deal with Sting because she is the President of TNA and she needs to show authority.
Desmond Wolfe is out and Chelsea doesn’t really want to be out with him. Wolfe’s opponent is Brian Kendrick. Wolfe attacks Kendrick to start the match. Kendrick fights back and hits a series of strikes to Wolfe. Wolfe tries to fight back, but Kendrick hits a spinning wheel kick. Wolfe fights back and sends Kendrick out of the ring. Wolfe hits Kendrick with a European uppercut. Back in the ring, Kendrick fights back with an arm drag, but Wolfe kicks him out of the ring again. Wolfe hits another pair of European uppercuts and locks in a modified chin lock. Kendrick hits a double leg takedown, but Wolfe fights back by raking the eye. Wolfe focuses the attack on Kendrick’s arm. Chelsea starts to leave and Wolfe is distracted. Kendrick takes advantage of the distraction and locks in his Cobra Clutch. He locks in the leg scissors and makes Wolfe tap out.
Move of the Match: There were a handful of great moves, but this has to go to Kendrick’s Cobra Clutch with leg scissors.
An interviewer asks Tommy Dreamer about his role in TNA. Tommy says it’s his personal time and he’s not asking questions right now.
The Pope D’Angelo Dinero comes out to the ring. Pope says he is at 80 percent. He says that things aren’t over between him and Anderson. He says that he wants to come back and work his way to the top so he can become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Kurt Angle comes out. Angle says he’s a big fan of Pope, but their paths have crossed in the rankings. Angle says at Victory Road it will be Kurt Angle vs. The Pope. Angle says Pope has nothing to lose and everything to gain. He says he has everything to lose. Angle says, “May the best man win.” He then tells Pope that he must be victorious.
They play highlights of the Jay Lethal/Ric Flair feud.
Jay Lethal comes out and calls out AJ and Flair. Matt Morgan comes out and gets a microphone. Morgan says that Flair asked him to join Fortune. Morgan takes a cheap shot on Lethal and the match starts. Morgan hits the back elbows in the corner on Lethal and follows up with a big splash. He hits a sidewalk slam and chokes Lethal on the ropes. Morgan continues the attack with a surfboard hold in the ropes. Lethal tries to fight back, but Morgan catches him and hits a fall away slam. Morgan hits a headbutt and walks across Lethal’s chest. Morgan chokes Lethal in the corner and then chokes him on the ropes. Morgan hits his running leg strike to Lethal on the ropes. He covers, but only gets a 2 count. Lethal avoids the Carbon Footprint and Morgan hangs himself up on the ropes. Lethal starts to fight back with a series of chops and kicks. He hits a big enzuigiri and a running shoulder block. Lethal nails Morgan with a running dropkick for a 2 count. Lethal goes out to the apron, but Morgan avoids the springboard attack and sends Lethal out of the ring. The referee goes out to check on Lethal and Hernandez comes in a low blows Morgan. Lethal hits a springboard dropkick to Morgan and gets the 3 count.
Move of the Match: I think this goes to the springboard dropkick, even though it probably wouldn’t have given him the win without Hernandez’s low blow.
Abyss is in the back driving nails into a wooden board. He says it looks like it’s really going to hurt somebody.
Up next is Madison Rayne taking on Taylor Wilde. Taylor gets a takedown, but Madison fights back by pulling her hair. Madison hits a spear and slams Taylor’s head to the mat. She chokes Taylor on the ropes. Madison continues the attack, but Taylor fights back with a head scissors takedown. Taylor hits a big slap to Madison, but Madison slams her to the mat. Madison sends Taylor to the corner, but Taylor springs out to the apron. Madison and Taylor clothesline each other. Both go down with Taylor landing hard on the apron. Madison continues the attack and hits her inverted overdrive to pick up the win.
Move of the Match: There were a handful of good moves in this match, but this has to go to the inverted overdrive.
After the match, Angelina Love hits the ring with a chair. She nails Madison and looks to hit the DDT on the chair, but Madison fights out and escapes.
Back from break, we see Sarita attacking Taylor Wilde in the back. Taylor fights back, but Sarita slams her into a metal fence and security finally comes in to separate them.
They run down the current Victory Road card.
Dixie meets Sting up in the rafters. Dixie says she realizes that Sting has become a cancer to TNA. Dixie tells Sting he is suspended for 30 days. Bischoff comes in and has security lead Sting away. Sting says Dixie should make the suspension indefinite and leaves.
Up next is the Main Event with Jeff Hardy taking on Abyss. Rob Van Dam will act as referee for this match. RVD tries to take away Abyss’s weapon. Hardy comes in and attacks Abyss. He dropkicks him and RVD tosses the weapon out of the ring. Hardy hits a series of shots on Abyss. Abyss tries to fight back, but Hardy knocks him out of the ring. Hardy hits a dropkick to Abyss and slingshots out onto him. Hardy looks for the Twist of Fate on the floor, but Abyss shoves him into the ring post. Abyss slams Hardy’s head into the steel steps and rolls him back into the ring. Abyss sends Hardy into the corner. Hardy starts to fight back, but gets caught with a side slam. Abyss brings a chair into the ring. RVD takes the chair away and Hardy rolls up Abyss for 2. Hardy hits an attack to Abyss and his low dropkick. Hardy brings the chair into the ring. RVD initially tries to stop him, but when Hardy sets the chair up; RVD lets him use it to hit Poetry in Motion and then tosses it out of the ring. Abyss tries to fight back, but Hardy hits Whisper in the Wind for another 2 count. Hardy continues the attack, but runs into a big boot. Abyss hits a big splash, but Hardy kicks out just before 3. Abyss goes for the Shock Treatment, but Hardy slides out and hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes up top, but Abyss catches him. Abyss looks for a super chokeslam, but Hardy fights him off. Hardy hits the Swanton and covers for 3.
Move of the Match: There were a number of great moves. I’m going to give this to the Swanton.
After the match, Abyss attacks Hardy again. He nails RVD with the Black Hole Slam and goes out to get his weapon. Mr. Anderson comes out with a chair. He knocks the weapon out of Abyss’ hand and hits Abyss with the chair. Abyss dodges a chair shot and Anderson hits Hardy. Abyss picks up Anderson and hits the Shock Treatment. Impact ends with Abyss standing tall over the other 3 in the ring.
Hardy wants Abyss tonight and Hogan and Bischoff give him the match.
The first match is Ink Inc. taking on The Motor City Machine Guns. Shelley and Moore start out. Moore gets control first and he and Shelley trade wrist locks. Moore and Shelley trade moves and Moore hits an arm drag. Moore tags in Neal and they hit a double hip toss. Moore hip tosses Neal onto Shelley and Neal covers for 1. Neal tags Moore back in and Moore hits a sunset flip for 2. Moore goes for his wheelbarrow bulldog, but catches Shelley by the arm instead and sends him out of the ring. Sabin comes in after Moore, but Moore hits a head scissor takedown to send Sabin out as well. Moore sets up and flies out onto the Guns. Brother Devon has joined the broadcast team. He says he wants to make sure Ray doesn’t interfere. The guns hit one of their combos with the inverted atomic drop followed by a low dropkick and Shelley locking in an inverted STF so Sabin can hit the dropkick to the face. Sabin springs of Shelley’s back to knock Neal off the apron. Sabin sends Moore into Shelley’s boots and tags in Shelley. Moore starts to fight back, but Shelley continues to work the arm. Sabin is tagged in and he hits an elbow drop for a 2 count. Moore fights back and hits a springboard moonsault move. Neal and Shelley are tagged in. Neal takes down Shelley with a series of shots and hits a springboard crossbody on Sabin. He nails Shelley with the spear, but Sabin breaks up the count. Moore comes in and goes after Sabin. He tries to float over in the corner, but Sabin catches him and sends him out to the floor. Neal hits a swinging side slam on Sabin. Neal looks for a superplex on Shelley. Brother Ray comes out and Devon goes to stop him from interfering. Sabin takes advantage of the distraction and hits Neal from behind. The Guns nail Neal with Made in Detroit to pick up the win.
Move of the Match: There were a lot of great moves, but this has to go to Made in Detroit.
Eric Bischoff comes out and announces that in tonight’s match between Abyss and Jeff Hardy, Rob Van Dam will be the special guest referee.
Dixie Carter is in the back and doesn’t answer when asked why she’s not at ringside.
AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe is next. Joe comes out and throws his towel at Ric Flair. Joe overpowers AJ to start, but AJ sends Joe into the corner and hits a big chop. Joe no sells the chops and knocks AJ to the mat. Joe puts AJ in the corner and hits a series of shots. Joe hits a back elbow and the jumping kick in the corner. Joe hits a big knife edged chop in the corner. He hits a chop to AJ’s back, a kick to AJ’s chest and then hits a big knee drop. Joe gets a running start and AJ goes for a leapfrog, but Joe stops and nails AJ with a big slap. AJ fights back with a thumb to the eye and nails Joe with a vicious dropkick. AJ chokes Joe on the ropes until the referee pulls him off. AJ hits a front slam on Joe. Joe blocks the Suplex from AJ and hits a front suplex in response. AJ hits a dropkick to Joe’s knee. He drops Joe with a snapmare and locks in a chin lock. Joe fights back and nails AJ with a series of clotheslines. AJ goes for a springboard move, but Joe hits an inverted atomic drop and follows up with a big boot and a jumping senton for a 2 count. Joe tries to set AJ up for the Muscle Buster, but AJ fights out. Joe hits a pair of kicks, but AJ counters the third and hits a Dragon Screw. AJ looks for the Figure Four, but Joe counters and locks in the Rear Naked Choke. AJ taps out and Joe wins the match.
Move of the Match: There were a number of good moves, but I really like the Rear Naked Choke.
After the match, Flair starts to leave and AJ argues with Kazarian. He calls out Kaz and says he could beat him. He challenges Kaz to a match next week. Flair likes the idea and Kaz seems to accept the challenge.
We see Hulk, Bischoff and Dixie Carter talking in the back. Bischoff says Sting has become self-obsessed and dangerous. Kevin Nash comes in and Hogan asks him for a couple of minute and Nash leaves. They tell Dixie that Sting is a cancer who needs to be cut out. They says that she needs to deal with Sting because she is the President of TNA and she needs to show authority.
Desmond Wolfe is out and Chelsea doesn’t really want to be out with him. Wolfe’s opponent is Brian Kendrick. Wolfe attacks Kendrick to start the match. Kendrick fights back and hits a series of strikes to Wolfe. Wolfe tries to fight back, but Kendrick hits a spinning wheel kick. Wolfe fights back and sends Kendrick out of the ring. Wolfe hits Kendrick with a European uppercut. Back in the ring, Kendrick fights back with an arm drag, but Wolfe kicks him out of the ring again. Wolfe hits another pair of European uppercuts and locks in a modified chin lock. Kendrick hits a double leg takedown, but Wolfe fights back by raking the eye. Wolfe focuses the attack on Kendrick’s arm. Chelsea starts to leave and Wolfe is distracted. Kendrick takes advantage of the distraction and locks in his Cobra Clutch. He locks in the leg scissors and makes Wolfe tap out.
Move of the Match: There were a handful of great moves, but this has to go to Kendrick’s Cobra Clutch with leg scissors.
An interviewer asks Tommy Dreamer about his role in TNA. Tommy says it’s his personal time and he’s not asking questions right now.
The Pope D’Angelo Dinero comes out to the ring. Pope says he is at 80 percent. He says that things aren’t over between him and Anderson. He says that he wants to come back and work his way to the top so he can become TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Kurt Angle comes out. Angle says he’s a big fan of Pope, but their paths have crossed in the rankings. Angle says at Victory Road it will be Kurt Angle vs. The Pope. Angle says Pope has nothing to lose and everything to gain. He says he has everything to lose. Angle says, “May the best man win.” He then tells Pope that he must be victorious.
They play highlights of the Jay Lethal/Ric Flair feud.
Jay Lethal comes out and calls out AJ and Flair. Matt Morgan comes out and gets a microphone. Morgan says that Flair asked him to join Fortune. Morgan takes a cheap shot on Lethal and the match starts. Morgan hits the back elbows in the corner on Lethal and follows up with a big splash. He hits a sidewalk slam and chokes Lethal on the ropes. Morgan continues the attack with a surfboard hold in the ropes. Lethal tries to fight back, but Morgan catches him and hits a fall away slam. Morgan hits a headbutt and walks across Lethal’s chest. Morgan chokes Lethal in the corner and then chokes him on the ropes. Morgan hits his running leg strike to Lethal on the ropes. He covers, but only gets a 2 count. Lethal avoids the Carbon Footprint and Morgan hangs himself up on the ropes. Lethal starts to fight back with a series of chops and kicks. He hits a big enzuigiri and a running shoulder block. Lethal nails Morgan with a running dropkick for a 2 count. Lethal goes out to the apron, but Morgan avoids the springboard attack and sends Lethal out of the ring. The referee goes out to check on Lethal and Hernandez comes in a low blows Morgan. Lethal hits a springboard dropkick to Morgan and gets the 3 count.
Move of the Match: I think this goes to the springboard dropkick, even though it probably wouldn’t have given him the win without Hernandez’s low blow.
Abyss is in the back driving nails into a wooden board. He says it looks like it’s really going to hurt somebody.

Superstars opens with Yoshi Tatsu and Goldust taking on Zack Ryder and Primo. Ryder overpowers Yoshi, but Yoshi answers with a pair of hard chops. Yoshi and Ryder trade attacks and Yoshi hits an arm drag and locks in the arm hold. Yoshi tags in Goldust and Goldust hits an elbow to Ryder’s arm. Goldust hits a series of strikes. He sends Ryder into the ropes and hits an arm drag. Ryder fights back and tags in Primo, but Primo runs into an arm drag and Goldust tags in Yoshi. Yoshi continues the attack on Primo by focusing on his arm. Primo fights back with a knee strike, but Yoshi comes back with a crossbody for 1. Primo goes for a springboard crossbody, but Yoshi moves out of the way. Primo regains control by hanging Yoshi up on the top rope and tagging in Ryder. Ryder continues the attack on Yoshi and tags Primo back in. Primo locks in a reverse chin lock on Yoshi. Yoshi fights out of the corner and tags in Goldust. Goldust hits a pair of clotheslines and his uppercut. He hits an inverted atomic drop and a running bulldog for 2. Goldust hits strikes to Primo in the corner and nails Ryder with a shot as well. Primo hits Goldust from behind and dropkicks him out of the ring. Back from break, Ryder is in control with a reverse chin lock. Goldust tries to fight back, but Ryder takes him down and tags in Primo. Goldust tries to fight back to his corner, but Primo takes a shot to Yoshi on the apron. Primo looks to roll Goldust up and Goldust fights back. Goldust hits a scoop slam on Primo and tags in Yoshi. Primo tags in Ryder, but Yoshi quickly takes him down with a pair of dropkicks. Yoshi hits a spinning kick and goes into a kick combination. He hits a big double chop to Ryder and hits a shining wizard for 2, but Primo breaks up the count before 3. Goldust takes out Primo with a running bulldog and they both roll to the outside. Ryder avoids the double knees in the corner and hits the Rough Ryder for the 3 count and the win.
Move of the Match: I like Yoshi’s kicks and the shining wizard was impressive, but this has to go to the Rough Ryder leg lariat.
They play a promo showing what happened on NXT and Titus O’Neil’s elimination.
They play a promo hyping the debut of Alberto del Rio. Del Rio says he is the only man who does not lie and everyone else are liars.

Jillian gains the advantage first with a right hand and pulls Nikki’s hair. She chokes Nikki on the ropes and tosses her across the ring by her hair. Jillian continues the attack and locks in a reverse chin lock. Nikki tries to fight out, but Jillian slams her to the mat. Jillian once again pulls Nikki’s hair. Jillian hits a snapmare and follows up with a kick to the back. Jillian covers for 2. She picks Nikki up and hits a backbreaker. Jillian maintains position for a submission hold across her knee. Jillian slams Brie’s head into the apron. Nikki and Brie both roll under the ring. Nikki rolls back out and tries to get into the ring, but Jillian knocks her off the apron. Brie (who has yellow circles on the bottom of her wrestling boots that Nikki didn’t have) suddenly slides in from the side and rolls up Jillian for the 3 count to steal the win.
Move of the Match: I really want to give this to the monkey flip followed by the low dropkick from Nikki to Jillian.

Hawkins fights back and sends Christian off, but Christian comes back with a jumping knee. Hawkins rolls out of the ring, but gets caught with the dropkick from Christian. Christian and Archer have a stare down at ringside. Christian goes up top and hits a crossbody on Hawkins, but only gets a 1 count. Hawkins fights back and sends Christian out to the floor. Archer threatens to attack Christian, but the referee spots him and sends him to the back. Back from break, Hawkins is still in control. Christian fights back, but Hawkins catches him with a powerful knee. Hawkins hits a few kicks and covers for 2. Hawkins continues the attack to the midsection. Christian fights back, but Hawkins counters the Tornado DDT out of the corner. Christian fights back and hits a variation of Edge’s Edge-O-Matic for a 2 count. Christian hits Hawkins with a big slap and catches him with an inverted facelock backbreaker. Christian looks for a springboard crossbody, but Hawkins slams him to the mat and hits a big body slam for 2. Christian fights back with another big slap and goes up top. He hits the missile dropkick for 2. He goes up top again, but Hawkins dodges the crossbody and covers for 2. Christian catches Hawkins with his pendulum kick and hits the flying uppercut. Hawkins tries to fight off the Killswitch, but Christian hits and gets the 3 count.
Move of the Match: Both men were impressive, and although I liked Christian’s moves, I have to give this to Hawkins’ knee strike from early on.
